Stage Directors and Choreographers Society today released an open letter on racial justice to their colleagues in the field.

The Hippodrome Theatre is proud to bring MARIE AND ROSETTA to the stage! After a successful run at freeFall Theatre in St. Petersburg, this incredible production moves up to Gainesville, FL to run February 28 through March 22.

freeFall Theatre in St. Petersburg and The Hippodrome Theatre in Gainesville have joined forces to co-present MARIE & ROSETTA opening January 18 and closing February 16. freeFall will then transfer the production to The Hippodrome for performances at their venue opening on February 28 and running through March 22.

freeFall Theatre in St. Petersburg, FL and The Hippodrome Theatre in Gainesville, FL have joined forces to co-present two productions in their 2019/2020 season. freeFall will present MARIE & ROSETTA opening  January 18 and Hippodrome will present LONE STAR SPIRITS opening January 24. The company will then transfer the productions to their respective spaces after the initial run of each show. Both shows will run a combined total of over 8 weeks.

Public performances are Thursday-Saturday, November 14-16, 21-23 and Thanksgiving weekend Fridaya?"Sunday, November 29a?"December 1. Artistic Director Rick Dildine and Executive Director Todd Schmidt have announced their inaugural New Festival Season at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, which features 14 extraordinary productions, with a full six weeks of spring repertory along with unexpected theatrical experiences in found spaces.
