The American Pops Orchestra will present the semi-final round of its 5th Annual NextGen National Competition: Finding the Voices of Tomorrow. The event is being shared with the public through a private broadcast on Saturday, January 29 from 8-9 p.m. ET.

Billy Porter is set to co-host Dick Clarke's New Year's Rockin' Eve, also performing his new single. Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper return to CNN with an appearance from Patti LuPone. Miley Cyrus and Pete Davidson present a brand-new variety show. Chita Rivera hosts a special for PBS, featuring Lea Salonga, Paulo Szot, Drew Gehling, and more.

Chita Rivera has been announced as the host of United in Song: Celebrating the American Dream, a new New Year's Eve special on PBS. The special will also feature performances by Lea Salonga, Drew Gehling, Paulo Szot, David Archuleta, Judy Collins, Amber Merritt, Jencarlos Carnela, Deborah Cox, and The American Pops Orchestra.

There are many performing arts venues in the country and each one possesses varying degrees of acoustics and sound amplification apparatus. However, you can be certain that whatever place Paulo Szot’s voice is heard in the sound qualities of the room become infinitely elevated.

The American Pops Orchestra presents two new episodes of 'ONE VOICE: THE SONGS WE SHARE.' The episodes, entitled “Country” and “American Roots,” will be broadcast back to back on Friday, October 29, 2021 (check local listings) on PBS, PBS.org and the PBS Video App.

The American Pops Orchestra announced today the release of two new episodes of ONE VOICE: THE SONGS WE SHARE, as part of #PBSForTheArts. The episodes, entitled “Country” and “American Roots,” will be broadcast back to back on Friday, October 29, 2021 (check local listings) on PBS.

WICKED IN CONCERT: A Musical Celebration of the Iconic Broadway Score will air on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at 9:00 p.m. ET.

Frazier arranged the musical numbers featured in this star-studded concert, which include “The Wizard and I,” “Defying Gravity,” “Popular, Wonderful,” “No Good Deed,” “For Good” and “As Long As You’re Mine.”

Learn about the cast and all the scoop on the event will feature performances by Mario Cantone, Gavin Creel, Ariana DeBose, Cynthia Erivo, Stephanie Hsu, Rita Moreno, Jennifer Nettles, Alex Newell, Isaac Powell, Amber Riley, Gabrielle Ruiz and Ali Stroker.

This special performance will feature reimagined, never-before-heard musical arrangements created just for this broadcast, performed by celebrity artists from the worlds of film, pop music and television.

This month, FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, presents some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond.

The “Broadway” episode features show tunes recorded by the Rat Pack, Johnny Mathis and other chart-topping artists, as well as musical theater songs that have become anthems outside of the theater and given a broader voice to our changing society. 

Two additional episodes of the ONE VOICE: THE SONGS WE SHARE series are planned for release later this year, including “Country” and “American Roots.”

The American Pops Orchestra presents WE ARE FAMILY: SONGS OF HOPE AND UNITY, which will be broadcast on Friday, May 14, 2021 (check local listings) on PBS, PBS.org and the PBS Video App. 

The program is part of #PBSForTheArts and features performances by Broadway star and recording artist Morgan James; star of Season 14 of The Voice Rayshun LaMarr; Broadway and Tony Award-nominated star Laura Osnes; celebrated recording artist Nova Y. Payton; and Broadway and television star Gabrielle Ruiz.
