Telemundo announced the winners of the “Latin American Music Awards” (Latin AMAs), which paid tribute to today's most prominent and iconic Latin artists, as voted by the fans in the tradition of the “American Music Awards,” the world's largest fan-voted award show. Music superstar Carlos Vives becomes the fourth star to join as Coach of the highly-anticipated singing competition La Voz, the Spanish-language version of the hit NBC show The Voice, coming for the first time to U.S. Hispanic television in early 2019. The singer, composer, producer and entrepreneur, will be joining the already announced Coaches Luis Fonsi, Alejandra Guzmán and Wisin, who will search for the most promising Spanish-speaking vocalists in the nation.

The Croatian duo of Luka Sulic and Stjepan Hauser, better known as 2CELLOS, return this Fall with an all-new album, Let There Be Cello, set for release October 19 via Sony Music Masterworks. MTV today announced nominations across all gender neutral categories for the 2018 “VMAs.” The list includes dozens of artists whose reach and influence have elevated music's relevancy within the cultural conversation.  Cardi B received nods in 10 categories, including “Video,” “Song” and “Artist of the Year,” and The Carters secured eight, including “Video of the Year,” “Best Collaboration” and “Best Hip Hop” for their recent hit single “APES**T.” Other top contenders include Childish Gambino, Drake and Bruno Mars.  The “VMAs” will air live from Radio City Music Hall on Monday, August 20 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT, and across MTV's global network of channels in more than 180 countries and territories, reaching more than half a billion households around the world.

Netflix announced today that singer Anitta will star in a new unscripted biographical series Vai Anitta that is set to debut on the platform in 2018. With more than 29.4 million followers on Instagram, two billion views on Youtube and a rising international career, Anitta is presently the biggest Brazilian pop star. In the series produced by Shots Studios, the cameras will have unrestricted and UNCENSORED access behind the scenes of her hectic routine: from the shows in Brazil to traveling around the world, through the interaction with the fans in social media and her personal life.

"Riverdale" leads in television with seven nominations, while "Stranger Things" follows with five and "The Bold Type" with four.
