Sony/ATV Music Publishing has extended its worldwide deal with songwriter and artist Luis Fonsi whose hit “Despacito” is the most-streamed song of all time.

The “2018 Billboard Music Awards,” hosted by “The Voice” coach, Kelly Clarkson, was an emotional and celebratory night of nostalgic and one-of-a-kind musical performances and touching moments all to celebrate this year's biggest and best in music! This year's show aired live on both coasts from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 20 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on NBC.

Telemundo announced that Global Latin pop singer Luis Fonsi, is the first Coach to join the newly announced La Voz, the Spanish-language version of NBC'S hit singing competition The Voice, coming for the first time to U.S. Hispanic television in 2019. Three other Coaches will join the multi award-winning artist in the first non-scripted program to be produced at Telemundo Center in Miami, where Coaches will be in search for the nation's most promising unknown Hispanic vocalists and make their decisions based solely on one factor, La Voz (The Voice).

dick clark productions and NBC today announced nominees for the "2018 Billboard Music Awards," which will honor the year's most successful artists in 57 categories of music.  Kendrick Lamar, Bruno Mars and Ed Sheeran lead the pack with 15 nominations each, followed by Post Malone with 13, Imagine Dragons with 11, Drake with 9 and Justin Bieber and Cardi B with 8. The official video of the catchy Spanish-language track, featuring Puerto Rican rapper Daddy Yankee, on Wednesday surpassed 5 billion views on YouTube — becoming the first video in the platform's history to hit that watermark.
