TEEN CHOICE 2018, the summer's hottest LIVE show, is back with a brand-new wave of nominees.

HAMILTON author Lin-Manuel Miranda and Producer Jeffrey Seller announce that the production will hold auditions in Puerto Rico in June for singers and dancers ahead of  the January 2019 opening of HAMILTON in San Juan. The casting call is for consideration for all companies of HAMILTON including the new company in Puerto Rico, Broadway, Chicago and touring productions.

Sony/ATV Music Publishing has extended its worldwide deal with songwriter and artist Luis Fonsi whose hit “Despacito” is the most-streamed song of all time.

The “2018 Billboard Music Awards,” hosted by “The Voice” coach, Kelly Clarkson, was an emotional and celebratory night of nostalgic and one-of-a-kind musical performances and touching moments all to celebrate this year's biggest and best in music! Telemundo announced that Global Latin pop singer Luis Fonsi, is the first Coach to join the newly announced La Voz, the Spanish-language version of NBC'S hit singing competition The Voice, coming for the first time to U.S. Hispanic television in 2019. Three other Coaches will join the multi award-winning artist in the first non-scripted program to be produced at Telemundo Center in Miami, where Coaches will be in search for the nation's most promising unknown Hispanic vocalists and make their decisions based solely on one factor, La Voz (The Voice).

dick clark productions and NBC today announced nominees for the "2018 Billboard Music Awards," which will honor the year's most successful artists in 57 categories of music.  Kendrick Lamar, Bruno Mars and Ed Sheeran lead the pack with 15 nominations each, followed by Post Malone with 13, Imagine Dragons with 11, Drake with 9 and Justin Bieber and Cardi B with 8. According to Variety, Luis Fonsi's global hit “Despacito” has broken a new digital record. The official video of the catchy Spanish-language track, featuring Puerto Rican rapper Daddy Yankee, on Wednesday surpassed 5 billion views on YouTube — becoming the first video in the platform's history to hit that watermark.

The NCAA and Turner Live Events, alongside official NCAA Corporate Champions AT&T, Coca-Cola, and Capital One have announced additional artists for the 2018 NCAA March Madness Music Festival. The free, three-day live music celebration, set to take place March 30 – April 1, is open to the public at Hemisfair in San Antonio.
