And if their new routine is good enough, they'll claw their way to the top at the Boogie Down Grand Prix in Tampa Bay. But in Clare Barron's raucous pageant of ambition and ferocity, these young dancers have more than choreography on their minds, because every plie and jete is a step toward finding themselves, and a fight to unleash their power.

Previews begin this Friday, April 13 for the Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director) world premiere production of DANCE NATION, the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize-winning new play by Obie Award winner Clare Barron (You Got Older, I'll Never Love Again). Directed and choreographed by Obie Award winner Lee SundayEvans (Caught, D Deb Debbie Deborah, A Beautiful Day in November..., [Porto]), the play is the fifth production of the theater company's 2017/2018 Season.

Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director) begins accepting entries today, Monday, April 2, for the Live for Five online lottery for $5 tickets to the world premiere of DANCE NATION, the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize-winning new play by Obie Award winner Clare Barron (You Got Older, I'll Never Love Again).  Directed and choreographed by Obie Award winner Lee Sunday Evans (Caught, D Deb Debbie Deborah, A Beautiful Day in November…, [Porto]), the play is the fifth production of the theater company's 2017/2018 Season.

FONDLY, COLLETTE RICHLAND began previews on Friday, September 11, 2015 and officially opened on Monday, September 28, 2015 at New York Theatre Workshop (79 E. 4th Street New York, NY 10003), and will now run through Saturday, October 24 2015. Due to popular demand, The Public Theater announced a second and final two-week extension for Elevator Repair Service's acclaimed THE SOUND AND THE FURY. Chosen as a New York Times Critics' Pick, THE SOUND AND THE FURY began performances in The Public's Martinson Theater on Thursday, May 14 and was originally extended to Saturday, June 27. Directed by John Collins, the show will now run an additional two weeks through Sunday, July 12. THE SOUND AND THE FURY marks the third collaboration between The Public and Elevator Repair Service, having previously presented Gatz and Arguendo.
