The Unicorn Theatre has revealed seven productions to mark 20 years on Tooley Street. This season includes five World Premieres: a landmark partnership with the National Theatre to engage children across the UK and more.
Currently on stage at the Arkansas Repertory Theatre through Sunday, June 8, is the World Premiere of ME AND THE DEVIL, written and directed by the Rep’s new Artistic Director, Steve H. Broadnax III. Described as his “love note to the South,” the production pulses with blues, brims with drama, and drips with decadence—everything we love in a show. While opera-lovers wait eagerly for soprano Julia Bullock’s appearance in the latest John Adams lyric drama, ANTONY AND CLEOPATRA at the Met in May, Bullock continues to tantalize us with some other parts of her repertoire, from the Baroque (her recent program with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment) to this past Tuesday’s entry in Lincoln Center’s American Songbook series, HISTORY’S PERSISTENT VOICE, filled with songs and readings about enslavement and incarceration.

The Royal Court Theatre announces a four-week secondary schools tour of Cuttin' It, written by Charlene James and directed by Anastasia Osei-Kuffour. The tour will visit a number of schools across London and Birmingham Monday 15 January 2018 Friday 9 February 2018.
