Performances begin tonight for Roundabout Theatre Company's third annual Roundabout Underground Reading Series. The actors involved in the series include: Pico Alexander, Fred Applegate, De'Adre Aziza, David Aaron Baker, Cassie Beck, Michael Chernus, Diane Davis, Dashiell Eaves, Ryan Eggold, Lisa Emery, Sue Jean Kim, Chad Kimball, Jessica Love, Lizbeth Mackay, Annie McNamara, Alex Mickiewicz, Aaron Clifton Moten, Olivia Oguma, Tonya Pinkins, Paul Pontrelli, Conrad Ricamora, Reg Rogers, Debra Jo Rupp, Campbell Scott and Max von Essen.

We are pleased to announce our third annual Roundabout Underground Reading Series. The Roundabout Underground Reading Series is a five night event taking place February 24 - February 28 that will include a nightly reading of a new play written and directed by an emerging artist.

Now celebrating its 10th anniversary season, the Alliance/Kendeda National Graduate Playwriting Competition continues to spotlight the best emerging playwrights with a full production for the competition winner and staged readings for four competition finalists. IN LOVE AND WARCRAFT, the 10th competition winner, will premiere on the Hertz Stage January 31 - February 23, 2014. Opening night is February 5, 2014. IN LOVE AND WARCRAFT is written by Madhuri Shekar, a recent graduate of the MFA program at the University of South California, and will be directed by Laura Kepley, Artistic Director of the Cleveland Play House.

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater has announced that the 2012 F*ck!ng Good Plays (festival, III)--ten (10) days of new play readings by nine (9) of today's hottest playwrights--will begin Saturday, December 1 and continue through Monday, December 10. The festival will be presented at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater (224 Waverly Place, west of Seventh Avenue South, between West 11 and Perry Streets).
