About Face Theatre is pleased to announce its 2018-19 Season, featuring three groundbreaking productions including the world premiere of an original work.

Casting Announced For SUMMER SHORTS 2018

Casting is complete for SUMMER SHORTS 2018, produced by Throughline Artists (J.J. Kandel, Producing Artistic Director) at 59E59 Theaters (Val Day, Artistic Director; Brian Beirne, Managing Director). SUMMER SHORTS 2018 begins on July 20 and runs through September 1. Two series featuring three one-act plays in each will play in rotating repertory Tuesday - Friday at 7:15 PM; Saturday & Sunday at 2:15 PM and 7:15 PM. Please note, there are no matinee performances on Saturday, July 21, Sunday, July 22, or Saturday, July 28.

Wisconsin Premiere Of MISS HOLMES Opens 7/4

Peninsula Players Theatre, America's oldest professional resident summer theater and Door County's theatrical icon, opens the riveting murder mystery "Miss Holmes," by Christopher M. Walsh, based on the characters by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle on Wednesday, July 4. In this deadly and thrilling story, Walsh's Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson are intelligent and independent women in 19th Century England.

Tovah Feldshuh is Leona in THE QUEEN OF MEAN

Tovah Feldshuh six time Tony and Emmy nominated star of 'The Walking Dead,' 'Crazy Ex-Girlfriend,' and now CBS' 'Salvation' returns to Feinstein's/54 Below in a all new show featuring highlights from the Broadway-bound musical Queen of Mean, based on the New York Timesbest-seller biography by Ransdell Pierson. Tovah as Leona sings and stings about everything from her meteoric rise from office temp to Queen of the Palace, to her Real Estate rival Donald Trump. Tovah's Leona is proud to be below Studio 54 whose owners ALSO served time for the crime of tax evasion.

LCT3's PASS OVER Extends Through Sunday July 22

Lincoln Center Theater/LCT3 has announced that it has extended the run of its critically acclaimed production of PASS OVER, a new play by Antoinette Nwandu, directed by Danya Taymor, featuring Gabriel Ebert, Jon Michael Hill, and Namir Smallwood, at the Claire Tow Theater (150 West 65 Street). PASS OVER, which was originally scheduled to end its limited engagement on Sunday, July 15, will perform an additional four performances on Saturday, July 21 and Sunday, July 22, at 2pm and 7pm on both days.

BWW Review: THE KING AND I, London Palladium

Following a hit run at New York's Lincoln Center Theater in 2015, Bartlett Sher's production of the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic makes its way to London's West End for a limited run at the London Palladium. Transferring with it is Tony Award nominee Ken Watanabe and Tony Award winner Kelli O'Hara, in the title roles.

The George London Foundation for Singers has been honoring, supporting, and presenting the finest young opera singers in the U.S. and Canada since 1971. The foundation and the George London Awards (the prize of the foundation's annual competition) are named for the legendary Canadian-American bass-baritone, one of the greatest opera singers of 20th century, who devoted much of his time and energy in his later years to the support and nurturing of young opera singers.
