Scott Rudin announced that he is producing a two-hour documentary feature based on his hit Broadway play To Kill a Mockingbird for HBO, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

TheatreWorks Silicon Valley presents the Northern California premiere of Archduke. Written by Pulitzer Prize finalist Rajiv Joseph, Archduke explores how one man, one moment, can derail an entire century. Focusing on the cataclysmic 1914 assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand in Sarajevo, three hapless insurgents embark on a darkly comic quest for immortality and purpose, unaware that their actions will launch World War I.

The theme for this year's Lab is "In the Room."

Deadline reports that Madeleine Arthur will reprise her role as Christine in Netflix's All The Boys I've Loved Before sequel, which has also added Emmy winner Holland Taylor and Sarayu Blue. Stars Lana Condor and Noah Centineo will also return; so will Anna Cathcart, Janel Parrish, and John Corbett, along with previously announced newcomers Jordan Fisher and Ross Butler.

The 2019 National tour of Lincoln Center Theater's production of FALSETTOS has already begun in San Francisco, with its next stop the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles (beginning April 16, 2019). I was afforded the most opportune chance to chat with Nick Blaemire in between shows at the SHN Golden Gate in San Francisco. A produced Broadway writer at the early age of 23, Nick now portrays shrink/husband/step-dad/friend Mendel, the connecting link between FALSETTOS's myriad of characters created from the fertile meetings of the artistic minds of William Finn and James Lapine.

For its final concerts of the 2018-2019 season, New Amsterdam Singers, led by Music Director Clara Longstreth, will present music with roots in Argentina and Spain, featuring Misa a Buenos Aires/Misatango for chorus, strings, bandoneon, and piano by Argentine-born Martín Palmeri; two works by Astor Piazzolla from his cycle, Four Seasons of Buenos Aires; and Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco's Romancero Gitano for chorus and guitar, on poetry by Federico Garcia Lorca. The concerts will take place Thursday, May 16, at 8:00 p.m., and Sunday, May 19, 2019, at 3:00 p.m., at The Church of the Holy Trinity, 316 East 88th Street (between First and Second Avenues).

The Off-Broadway League today announced nominations in 19 categories - and bestowed one special award - for the 34th Annual Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway. The Awards will be handed out on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at NYU Skirball Center for Performing Arts, beginning at 7:00pm EST. The Lucille Lortel Awards are produced by the Off-Broadway League by special arrangement with the Lucille Lortel Theatre Foundation. Additional support is provided by TDF. Beloved and celebrated entertainer, Wayne Brady, will emcee the ceremony.

Theatre Royal Bath Productions today announces the UK premiere of Christopher Durang's Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike as part of its 2019 Summer Season, directed by the Tony Award-winning US director Walter Bobbie. The comedy, produced by special arrangement with Joey Parnes, Larry Hirschhorn, Sue Wagner and John Johnson, will open at the Ustinov Studio where it runs from 6 June to 6 July with press night on 12 June.

On this day in 2008, Lincoln Center Theater's lavish new production of Richard Rodgers& Oscar Hammerstein's prize-winning musical SOUTH PACIFIC, directed by Bartlett Sher, opened at the Vivian Beaumont Theater.

The six-show 2019-20 season, supported in part by PNC, opens with the six-time Tony® Award-winning and Grammy®Award-winning Dear Evan Hansen and offers two other productions never before seen in Columbus-Mean Girls and Anastasia. National Theatre Wales are delighted to announce an island of Ireland tour of Cotton Fingers, written by award-winning writer Rachel Trezise and starring Northern Irish actor, Amy Molloy. This timely, politically-charged production, written during the referendum to repeal the 8th amendment in Ireland in 2018, will tour to venues in Belfast, Derry~Londonderry, Dublin and Bray from 22 May until 8 June 2019, marking one year since the historic referendum took place.

The Drama League has announced the twelve stage directors who have been selected as the 2019 Directing Fellows of The Drama League Directors Project: NJ Agwuna, Sharifa Elkady, Raz Golden, Chika Ike, Rebecca Marzalek-Kelly, Ismael Lara, Jr., Amanda McRaven, Lindsey Hope Pearlman, Ben Randle, Tai Thompson, Gabriel Torres, and Sophia Watt.
