The audience will meet an unprecedented interactive experience. An unconventional musical, conceived and directed by Ulysses Cruz, with a libretto by Marcos Daud and music by Elton Towersey, which promotes a sensory dive into the mysterious adventure of a man whose identity has been hidden for over 350 years: the man in the iron mask.

Opens at Procopio Ferreira theater, in Sao Paulo, the musical The Wizard of Oz, inspired by the literary work of L. Frank Braum, released in the year 1900. In this production of the classic, adapted for today, Miss Dorothy is played by Duda Pimenta, Danielle Winits as the Bad Witch, Sienna Belle as Glinda and Frederico Reuter, the Magician.

Berkeley Symphony has announced its 2023-24 Season, led by Music Director Joseph Young, who is now in his fifth season with the historic organization. Dissident Practices, on view April 19-June 16, 2023, at Anya and Andrew Shiva Gallery at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, explores how Brazilian women artists respond to social change -- from the military dictatorship in the mid-1960s to the return to democracy in the mid-1980s, the social changes of the 2000s, the rise of the Right in the late-2010s, and the recent development of a more diverse younger generation fighting for gender equality and LGBTQI+ rights.
