Brazilian-bred, Los Angeles-based alternative rock trio SOFIA has released their new single 'Closer' along with the official visual for the emotional track. Set against a steady drumbeat and spacey guitars, 'Closer' tells the story of someone on the verge of giving up on the relationship because their partner seems to enjoy the chaos that comes from confrontation more than being happy and at peace with the relationship itself.

Italian Theater Festival NY, a festival of Italian theater taking place in all five boroughs of NYC, April 27-May 11. The New York Philharmonic has announced its spring 2020 education programs: Young People's Concerts, including one tied to Project 19, the Philharmonic's celebration of the centennial of the 19th Amendment through 19 commissions by women composers; Very Young People's Concerts; New York Philharmonic Very Young Composers Program, expanding to Brooklyn; four free concerts as part of the New York Philharmonic Youth Mentorship Program; and Musicians from the New York Philharmonic performing a free concert for individuals with dementia and their caregivers as part of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts's Lincoln Center Moments.
A CHORUS LINE takes Firestone Theatre stage Six Times In April

Firestone Theatre presents the school edition of the seminal musical A Chorus Line. Evening performances will be held at 7:30 p.m. on April 3, 4, 9, 10, and 11, 2020. A single matinee performance will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 5, 2020. General admission tickets are $10.00 in advance, and $12.00 at the door. A reserved seat is available online for $14.00 and a premium VIP seat is $17.00. Tickets are available online now at FirestoneTheatre.com. Hard tickets will be available at the school between 11 and 1:00 p.m. starting Monday, March 23, 2020. Tickets for A Chorus Line will also be available at the door on the evening of performance.

Sonia Plumb Dance Company announced today a three-performance run of The Dance of Da Vinci 2.0, a breathtaking journey that propels six dancers through space and time under the inspiration of Leonardo Da Vinci and Renaissance Humanism. This modern dance meditation on the boundless genius of Da Vinci will be presented March 20, 21 and 22, 2020 at the Theatre of the Performing Arts, 359 Washington Street in Hartford, CT. The production is conceived and choreographed by Artistic Director Sonia Plumb.
The Dance of da Vinci 2.0 is an expanded version of The Dance of da Vinci which premiered at The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts in Hartford in 2018.

Norfolk & Norwich Festival has today announced the full programme for its 2020 Festival (8 - 24 May). The vast and wide-ranging programme across 17 days showcases artists from around the city and county, welcoming performers from across the globe exploring whilst Norfolk's local identity. Presenting a huge variety of events including theatre, music, visual arts, literature, circus, outdoor and free and family activities, this year the Festival includes two world, and eight UK premieres. 2020 sees a brand-new Adnams Main Stage alongside the much-loved Adnams Spiegeltent in Festival Gardens, the heart and hub of the Festival will be offering street food and pop-up bars, and the beginning of a three-year programme dedicated to celebrating the festival's incredible 250th birthday in 2022.

Goodman Theatre Artistic Director Robert Falls has announced casting for his upcoming revival of Molly Sweeney by Brian Friel. In assuming the title role, Chicago favorite Kate Fry returns to the Goodman, following her recent appearance in Falls' production of The Winter's Tale. Joining Fry are stage and screen star Brendan Coyle (Downton Abbey), who returns to the Goodman following his triumphant appearance in last season's St. Nicholas by Conor McPherson, and Chicago's Christopher Donahue (Oedipus Rex at Court Theatre, Moby Dick at Lookingglass).
