The Wolf of Wall Street is coming to London in a brand new immersive production based on the memoir of the infamous '90s New York stockbroker Jordan Belfort, as depicted by Leonardo DiCaprio in the movie of the same name by Martin Scorsese. The world premiere production will plunge audiences into a world of greed, power and excess, bringing to life the highs and lows of Jordan Belfort's millionaire lifestyle in a night of Class A entertainment. Adapted and directed by Alexander Wright (The Great Gatsby), the show will preview in a central London location, from 5 September 2019. Further casting and venue details will be announced in due course.

Hola Mexico Film Festival announced that the 11th edition will close with the Los Angeles premiere of MIRREYES VS GODINEZ (MIRREYES CONTRA GODINEZ), in addition to announcing the programing for its sections Documental, MX Ahora, and Nocturno. MIRREYES VS GODINEZ directed by Chava Cartas is a comedic social critique on Mexico's polarized society. The film stars Regina Blandon and Daniel Tovar and is produced by Francisco Gonzalez Compean and written by Maria Hinojos. The Closing Night will take place on June 8th at the LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes in Downtown Los Angeles followed by a concert by Sandra Echeverria showcasing her latest album.

The fascinating autobiography CATCH ME IF YOU CAN, by Frank Abagnale, Jr., first made into a movie starring Tom Hanks and Leonardo DiCaprio is now a musical adventure. Debuting on Broadway in 2011 to mixed reviews. As a character study the story is engrossing, but as the basis for a musical, it's problematic. While it has some great moments of comedy with a touch of drama and lots of jazzy 60's music, there are certainly better crafted musicals around.
