Judson Theatre Company continues its eleventh season with a new production of Leonard Gershe's classic Broadway comedy, 'Butterflies are Free”, starring Emmy and Golden Globe Award nominee Morgan Fairchild.

This spring, Baltimore based community theatre Just Off Broadway will present as its first production of 2023, the not-often-produced classic, Butterflies are Free by Leonard Gershe, May 5-14, 2023.

After a triumphant, popular and critically acclaimed year of productions and zoom performances last year, Lambert House Enterprises has announced its first for 2022.

HCCT is presenting the classic western firecracker of a musical for their hill country audience this month.  DESTRY RIDES AGAIN is based on the story by Max Brand, and became a book written by Leonard Gershe.

Rover Dramawerks begins their 21st Season with the classic comedy Butterflies are Free by Leonard Gershe. Performances will be at The Core Theatre, 518 W. Arapaho Rd. in Richardson, running just two weekends: May 13-22 on Thursdays and Fridays at 8:00 p.m. and on Saturdays at 3:00 and 8:00 p.m.

To celebrate the 60 th anniversary of the classic Audrey Hepburn/Fred Astaire musical film, FUNNY FACE, Verve Records/UMe is releasing an expanded version of the colorful soundtrack featuring, for the first time ever, all the songs from the beloved romantic comedy resequenced in the order in which they're heard in the film.

The play focuses on Don Baker, blind since birth, whose over-protective mother is forced to come to terms with her son's bid for independence when he sets up in a Manhattan apartment on his own. He soon makes the acquaintance of his off-the-wall, liberated, actress neighbor Jill. Don learns the kind of things from Jill that his mother would never have taught him! And Jill learns from Don what growing up and being free is really all about.

The coming-of-age comedy-drama runs from tonight, August 20 through September 8.
