According to Deirdre Lee Fitzgerald, PhD, assistant professor of psychology at Eastern Connecticut State University in Willimantic, promiscuity is 'high risk behavior comparable to heavy drinking, gambling and other thrill-seeking ventures.' Aside from the physical and emotional consequences of promiscuous behavior, there are spiritual and moral costs involved. Saunders examines these effects in his book, 'The Price of Promiscuity,' and shares insights on how to break free from a devastating cycle of sin.
