San Diego Repertory Theatre announced the cast lineup for Fun Home, one of the most celebrated musicals in recent Broadway history. Fun Home is the coming-out memoir of Alison Bechdel, an exploration of family, memory, first love and a daughter's relationship with her father. Fun Home was nominated for 12 Tony Awards in 2015 winning five including Best Musical, Best Book of a Musical, Best Original Score, Best Leading Actor and Actress in a Musical. The Alabama Shakespeare Festival is sponsoring a 10-day speaking and listening tour of the southeastern United States, July 7-17, 2018. The tour, titled the State of the South, has been developed to invigorate ASF's prestigious Southern Writers' Project, a program founded in 1991 at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival to commission and develop new plays by Southern playwrights.

INDIGENOUS is a compilation of stories, poems, songs, and narratives that discuss the Indigenous Experience. Following suit of previous shows like BLACKOUT and In Lak' Ech, the show sets out to invoke a hard discussion by confronting issues through the vein of genuine experience. No Peeking Theatre presents INDIGENOUS; A discussion of the Native Experience
The New Jersey One-Minute Play Festival (#1MPF) returns for The 8th Annual New Jersey One-Minute Play Festival! 1MPF is the country's largest and longest continually running community-engaged theatre project, aimed at exploring local topics, ideas, trends, and seeding conversations for, by, and about artists and citizens of NJ. The marathon evening of one-minute plays by some of New Jersey's established and emerging playwrights and directors will have three performances: Saturday, June 30th at 8pm, Sunday, July 1st at 3pm and 7pm. Beginning June 8th, Jokesters Comedy Club inside The D Casino Hotel will expand their national broadcast and begin airing their new standup comedy series Jokesters TV on The CW Channel Las Vegas. Jokesters TV will air throughout Las Vegas and will be available to both residents and hotel guests every Friday night at 2:30AM. The show also airs nationally and The Action Channel and rebroadcast on the Jokesters TV YouTube Channel.
