Executive Producer of Theater Talk Productions and co-creator of the show, Susan Haskins-Doloff, has announced an end to production of the program.

Barangay to Broadway: Filipino American Theater History includes information on Tony Award winners such as Lea Salonga (Actress in a Musical for Miss Saigon), Clint Ramos (Costume Design for Eclipsed), Lena Hall (Featured Actress in a Musical for Hedwig and the Angry Inch) and Robert Lopez (Music for Avenue Q and Book of Mormon).

Honoring the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I and the beginning of the Weimar Republic (1918-2018) International chanteuse Adrienne Haan will be featured in a Joseph Barry Production, Voluptuous Weimar-A Tribute to Berlin's Golden Age. Haan's performance celebrates the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I and the beginning of the Weimar Republic with musical selections that characterize Berlin during the 1920's and early 30's as a time of change. The program under the musical direction of pianist Richard Danley includes Spoliansky's, It's All a Swindle, Hollaender's Falling in Love Again, Berlin's Puttin' on the Ritz and Porter's Night and Day. Ms. Haan will perform with the Grammy-award winning 1920's Big Band, Vince Giordano and The Nighthawks.

Tony Award Nominee Eva Noblezada (Miss Saigon, Les Miserables) headlines the cast of musical drama film Yellow Rose along with Tony Award Winner Lea Salonga ( Once On This Island, Miss Saigon ). The film is led by Award-Winning Director Diane Paragas ( Brooklyn Boheme ) and production wrapped last month in Austin, Texas. Yellow Rose is Ms. Noblezada's debut in a feature film.

New York Youth Symphony Now Accepting Applications For Musical Theater Composition Program

Now entering its 56th season, the New York Youth Symphony (NYYS) is launching a Musical Theater Composition (MTC) program, to be led by newly-appointed director Anna K. Jacobs. In a partnership with the Harlem School of the Arts, this new program aims to diversify the world of musical theater by creating opportunities for young composers to have their compositions workshopped and performed by both peers and professionals.
