Award-nominated Vertigo Theatre Productions are bringing a new show and its star from New York to Manchester for its UK Premiere prior to a 4 week run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Writer/Performer Peter Michael Marino presents a comic autopsy on his $6 million West End musical fiasco Desperately Seeking Susan in DESPERATELY SEEKING THE EXIT. Directed by Obie Award winner John Clancy, performances of this site-specific, solo tell-all comedy begin May 3 at the Triple Crown Underground. The American premiere will be followed by the UK premiere at Manchester, England's Taurus Bar (presented by Vertigo Productions) and a run at the 2012 Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

BROADWAY SESSIONS, the long running, weekly, Manhattan based musical theater themed variety show and open mic, announces it's new residency at THE LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATER beginning Thursday, March 8th. Broadway Sessions is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano.

Accoridng to press notes, Carner & Gregor are a musical composing duo on the rise, who take great interest in working with college students. In the style of their Barely Legal Extravaganza concert series, they present nine fresh faces new to the New York City cabaret scene in this concert showcasing their work.

The Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs (MAC) has announced the nominees for the 26th Annual MAC Awards. The winners will be announced live at the MAC Awards Show on Thursday, March 29th, at the world-famous B.B. King Blues Club & Grill.

Edmund Gaynes, in association with David Gersten, will present Loni Ackerman, Brad Bradley Gene Castle, and Karla Shook in TIN PAN ALLEY (The Original iTunes), which began an open-ended Off-Broadway engagement February 25th at Actors Temple Theater (339 West 47th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues). Opening Night is set for March 19th (7pm). TIN PAN ALLEY will run 75 minutes.
