Cabaret Cares the award winning benefit series returns to The Laurie Beechman Theatre on November 25th at 9:30 PM. Created by cabaret Producer Joseph Macchia the series raises funds for Help Is On The Way Today a non for profit organization he funded to help children and youth living with HIV and AIDS.

After an acclaimed run at the 2012 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, writer/performer Peter Michael Marino returns to NYC with his comic autopsy on his $6 million West End musical fiasco Desperately Seeking Susan in DESPERATELY SEEKING THE EXIT. Shana Farr, who last month won The Mabel Mercer Foundation's 2012 Julie Wilson Award as "a cabaret singer who is a rising star," has just completed her debut CD, titled Shana Farr: Out Of The Shadows , which will be introduced at a CD release party and performance at The Players Club, 16 Gramercy Park South, in New York City on Friday, November 30, at 9 PM. Ms. Farr is backed by a trio comprised of Music Director Jon Weber (piano), Adam Fisher (cello) and Dan Levinson (clarinet).

Tonight, October 28th at 8pm, BroadwayUnderstudies.com has once again invited some of Broadway's most talented understudies to the stage of the Laurie Beechman Theatre to share their rare talent-the ability to perform at a second's notice. They'll be thrown into the fire in 'Half Hour 2: A Last Minute Concert,' a show where even they don't know what they'll be singing before they step up to the microphone. The audience will get to vote on what song each performer will sing.

Cabaret Cares, the series that raises funds for Help Is On The Way Today, officially kicks off Season 7 with Spirit Award Recipient Eric Michael Gillett. Created and produced by MAC Award Winner Joseph Macchia, Cabaret Cares raises money for the non-profit Help Is On The Way Today, which helps and assists children living with HIV and AIDS in New York City. The series has raised over $74,000 since it started 7 years ago.
