Juson Williams Joins Cast of MISSED CONNECTIONS at the Laurie Beechman Tonight, 11/5

By:

Four-time Audelco Award winner Juson Williams will be joining the cast Missed Connections: An Exploration into the Online Postings of Desperate Romantics for tonight's November 5 performance at The Laurie Beechman Theatre.

In addition to his four Audelco awards, Juson is also a Midtown InterNational Theatre Award winner. He was most recently seen in the New York Musical Theatre Festival’s encore performances of the award winning Central Avenue Breakdown, as well as in that show’s production in Daegu, South Korea. He has appeared on stage with Gladys Knight in Smokey Joe’s Café, with Leslie Uggams in Stormy Weather, and with Ashanti in The Wiz.

After a “hung-over” run at this February’s FRIGID NY festival, the timely comedy show Missed Connections: An Exploration into the Online Postings of Desperate Romantics began a series of monthly performances at the Laurie Beechman Theatre, located inside the West Bank Cafe at 407 West 42nd St at 9th Ave., in October with George Salazar in the featured role.

The up-and-coming Royanth Productions brings audiences a core cast of four talented comedians. Using real postings from the infamous craigslist section, the group will dive headfirst into dozens of unique characters. With a variety of locations, intentions and grammar, Missed Connections is a show of endless hilarity. Previous performances were staged at The Kraine Theater, The Producers Club, The Magnet Theater and The Brooklyn Lyceum (for the New York Times recognized UglyRhino).

The show is performed by Jennifer Jean Anderson, Ricky Dunlop, Jake McKenna and Lauren Roth. All tickets are $15, with a $15 food/beverage minimum and are available at SmartTix.com or by calling the Laurie Beechman Theater at 212-695-6909.
