Laughing Dog Media has announced Broadway star and vocal powerhouse JAMES BARBOUR'S Special Guest Artists at his Sixth Annual Holiday Concert. STEPHEN WALLEM will join Mr. Barbour on stage Saturday, December 7. MARY TESTA will join Mr. Barbour on stage Thursday, December 12.

Big Thunder Productions presents: Dating New York, Tuesday December 3 at 9:30pm. The holiday season can be tough for singles. Jessica Burrows Van Kipp will join Jonathan Brielle & Friends In I Saw Broadway on Monday, November 25 at 7pm. The night also features Deborah Cox, Matt Bogart, Veanne Cox, Rose Hemingway, and Ken Prymus.

Paper Mill Playhouse will continue its 75th Anniversary Season with the classic Charles Dickens musical Oliver!, with a holiday 'twist' for the entire family. With a book, music and lyrics by Lionel Bart, Oliver! will be directed by Paper Mill Playhouse Producing Artistic Director Mark S. Hoebee with original choreography by JoAnn M. Hunter. Oliver! will feature David Garrison (Fagin), best known for his role as Steve Rhoades on the hit television series Married...with Children, Betsy Morgan (Nancy), John Treacy Egan (Mr. Bumble), Jose Llana (Bill Sikes), David Hess (MR. Brownlow), Ethan Haberfield (Artful Dodger) and introducing Tyler Moran as Oliver. Oliver! will also feature 16 local boys from across the state of New Jersey who auditioned from a pool of over 200. Oliver! will play the Millburn, New Jersey theater from tonight, November 21 through December 29. The official press opening night is Sunday, December 1, 2013, at 7:00pm.

On November 24th at 9:30pm, BroadwayUnderstudies.com has once again invited some of Broadway's most talented understudies to the stage of the Laurie Beechman Theatre to share their rare talent-the ability to perform at a second's notice. They'll be thrown into the fire in 'Half Hour 4: A Last Minute Concert,' a show where even they don't know what they'll be singing before they step up to the microphone. The audience will get to vote on what song each performer will sing.

The Broadway Ballyhoo, now in its sixth month at The Laurie Beechman Theater, will present STEPHEN DeROSA, the multi-talented singer/actor who is currently featured in BETRAYAL and who has starred on Broadway as The Baker in the revival of INTO THE WOODS; he is also well-known for playing Eddie Cantor in EMPIRE BOARDWALK. Also starring this week at the Ballyhoo: JESSICA HENDY who starred on Broadway in CATS, AMOUR, and AIDA. Song and Dance man DANNY GARDNER (Broadway by the Year, Noah Racey's Pulse, and Room 17B) will be on the bill, as will concert and recording artist TEDI MARSH! Cornish College of the Arts welcomes back our two alums, Jerick Hoffer and Richard Andriessen aka Jinkx Monsoon and Major Scales, following their acclaimed run in the Off-Broadway sleeper hit The Vaudevillians. They return to the Emerald City to share the holidays with their fans in two exclusive performances of Jinkx Monsoon & Major Scales: Unwrapped after a week of performances of Unwrapped at The Laurie Beechman Theater in New York City.

After an acclaimed run in the Off-Broadway sleeper hit THE VAUDEVILLIANS, its creators return to share the holidays with their fans in JINKX MONSOON & MAJOR SCALES: UNWRAPPED. The Broadway Ballyhoo, now in its fifth month at The Laurie Beechman Theater, will welcome Margo Seibert, the talented young lady that will be playing Adrian in the much-anticipated musical version of ROCKY that begins performances on Broadway in February at the Winter Garden Theater. Margo was last seen Off-Broadway winning critical acclaim in the title role of Tamar of the River. She will be joined at the Ballyhoo by Natasha Yvette Williams who rose to Broadway prominence in THE COLOR PURPLE and PORGY & BESS. Additional star performers will be announced (or will just appear!) because there are always surprises at the Broadway Ballyhoo!

Up and coming musical theatre writer Zack Zadek performs a concert of his music at Highline Ballroom today, Monday November 11, at 8PM. Directed by Hunter Bird, the concert will be a mix of musical theatre, pop, dance, as well as selections from Zadek's full-length musicals 6 (New York Musical Theatre Festival 2012), and The Crazy Ones (NYMF Reading Series 2013).

The Laurie Beechman theatre was filled to capacity on Monday, November 4th for the Emerson College BFA Showcase featuring the BFA Acting and BFA Musical Theatre Class of 2013. Industry professionals hoping to find new cast members for their next projects and Emerson Alumni showed up to support and welcome the talented group to show business. Jude Treder-Wolff, a creative arts psychotherapist and writer/performer brings her solo storytelling show Crazytown: my first psychopath to The Pit-The Peoples Improv, 123 W. 24th St, New York, NY tonight, November 3 at 8 pm. Tickets are $5.
