THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG Comes to the Circle Theatre

Circle Theatre, West Michigan’s go-to destination for exceptional theatrical arts in an intimate setting, continues their 2022 Main Stage season with The Play That Goes Wrong, a 2015 Laurence Olivier Award winner for Best New Comedy, that will have audiences laughing all the way to the final curtain call.

A HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD Celebration to Take Place in Yonge-Dundas Square

The all-Canadian cast of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is now ensconced in the newly re-modelled CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre where they are in the midst of technical rehearsals in preparation for the show’s first performance on Tuesday May 31st. To mark that day, a special public celebration will be held at Yonge-Dundas Square from 12 noon – 2 pm.

Actress and Producer Alice Krige to Star in Psychological Thriller, 'SHE WILL'

Esteemed actress and producer Alice Krige is a respected force in the film and theatre world amassing a career that covers over 40 years in entertainment. From her first theatrical role in the ‘Best Picture’ Academy Award-winning film CHARIOTS OF FIRE, to starring opposite film legends Fred Astaire and Douglas Fairbanks Jr. in GHOST STORY, to her iconic role as the “Borg Queen” in STAR TREK: FIRST CONTACT which also won her the Saturn Award, Krige has established herself with an admired resume of work. Next up, Krige is set to star as the lead in the IFC Midnight psychological thriller SHE WILL, slated for a July 15th theatrical and digital release.

Full Cast Announced For OUR COUNTRY'S GOOD At South Pasadena Theatre Workshop

The South Pasadena Theatre Workshop has announced the cast for a new production of Timberlake Wertenbaker's award-winning dark comedy, Our Country's Good. Set in newly colonized Australia in the late 18th century, the production will run from May 26 to June 26. SPTW Artistic Director and co-founder, Sally Godwin Smythe, will direct the cast of twelve. 

Empire Stage to Present Yasmin Reza's ART

How much would you pay for a white painting? Would it matter who the painter was? Would it be art? These are just some of the questions that are asked, but not necessarily answered in Yasmina Reza’s award-winning play, ART.  ART will open at Empire Stage on April 29th and run through May 15th.
