Harry Potter and the Cursed Child has announced a further booking extension for the original two-part multi award-winning production to 29 September 2024 at London’s Palace Theatre, as the new cast take to the stage for their first performance.

The North American Tour of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will launch in September 2024. The call out for auditions has gone out today and all dates and venues are to be announced.

Apple TV+ will premiere “Criminal Record,” its eight-episode crime thriller starring Academy Award winner Peter Capaldi (“Doctor Who,” “The Thick of It”), and Laurence Olivier Award and Critics Choice Award nominee Cush Jumbo (“The Good Wife,” “The Good Fight,” “The Beast Must Die”) as detectives in a tug of war over a high-profile murder case.

WEST END THEATRES TO DIM LIGHTS IN HONOUR OF MICHAEL GAMBON. The West End will pay tribute to the late Sir Michael Gambon by dimming their lights for 2 minutes at 7pm on Friday, September 29th. Gambon had a remarkable career spanning six decades and was a member of the Royal National Theatre.

Sir Michael Gambon, who had an acting career that took him from Laurence Olivier’s nascent National Theatre to screen roles in the Harry Potter films, has died at the age of 82.

Disney Theatrical Productions and Broadway in Portland announced today that tickets for the long-awaited return engagement of Disney’s The Lion King will go on sale to the public on Monday, October 2 at 10 a.m. 

James G. Hirsch & Robert A. Papazian’s Love Among the Ruins begins its limited engagement at the El Portal Theatre October 8, 2023 (with previews starting October 6th). Michael Arabian directs the stellar cast of JoBeth Williams and Peter Strauss. After decades in successful careers in television, Love Among the Ruins marks James and Robert’s initial foray into theatre.
