Tenor Anthony Kearns' stirring rendition of 'O, America' with guitarist Laurence Juber is now available courtesy of Pacific Records, as reported in Rolling Stone.

This Sunday, March 24, internationally-renowned tenor Anthony Kearns will open the 'America Salutes You - Guitar Legends II' concert on AXS TV. The concert also features appearances and performances by such guitar legends as Sammy Hagar, Billy Gibbons, Dave Navarro, Robby Krieger, Stephen Stills, Orianthi, Joe Bonamassa, and more.

Casting is now complete for A New York City staged reading of A Very Brady Musical, a new musical based on the iconic 1970's television show The Brady Bunch, which will be directed by multiple Ovation Award winner Richard Israel.

The WYO rings in the New Year with two exceptional guitarists, Martin Taylor, hailed as THE acoustic guitarist of his generation by Acoustic Guitar Magazine and Laurence Juber, lead guitarist for Paul McCartney's Wings, on Tuesday, January 8 at 7:30pm.  Each virtuosic guitarist brings his own style to the WYO stage, guaranteed to dazzle.

On Thursday, January 10, MARTIN TAYLOR and LAURENCE JUBER join forces for a one-of-a-kind musical event! For the fourth consecutive year, The Iridium be hosting Association of Performing Arts Presenters (APAP) artist showcases with the 2019 lineup featuring Grammy-award winning composer, singer and songwriter Jimmy Webb with Ashley Campbell on Friday, January 4; American folk singer Susan Werner and jazz vocalist Ann Hampton Callaway on Saturday, January 5; and jazz fingerstyle guitarists Martin Taylor & Laurence Juber on Sunday, January 6.

Actress and former Miss America, Lee Meriwether, was honored in Los Angeles on February 10th by Theatre West; the theatre company she helped found 55 years ago.  Aside from originating the role of  Catwomen on Batman in the 1960s, Meriwether starred in such series as Time Tunnel, Barnaby Jones,  All My Children, Star Trek and many more. 

Dick Boak, director of the museum and archives at C.F. Martin and Company, is about to go out on a high note with a little help from his friends. BOAK'S BASH aka The Last Schmaltz will celebrate his retirement with an unprecedented acoustic concert event at the historic State Theatre in Easton on Saturday, January 6th. PART OF THE PLAN a new, original musical presented by K-Squared Entertainment and the Tennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC), written by Kate Atkinson & Karen Harris and scored with the music and lyrics of celebrated singer-songwriter Dan Fogelberg, makes its world premiere at theJames K. Polk Theater (505 Deaderick St. Nashville, TN) opening officially on Sunday, September 10, 2017. The show began previews on Friday, September 8th.  The developmental production will run through Sunday, September 24, 2017.

With Nashville's theater/music/entertainment/arts communities now abuzz about the world premiere of Part of the Plan, a new musical by Kate Atkinson and Karen Harris that is inspired by the music of American troubadour Dan Fogelberg, and which features a score of songs from among the singer/songwriter's catalog of biggest hits.

Though it may not have started out that way - and it was never a part of their plan - Kate Atkinson and Karen Harris, the two women who are responsible for bringing the new musical Part of the Plan to life onstage, may be proof positive that women, indeed, are getting the job done.

With only days before the first preview performance of Part of the Plan (followed by a gala opening night on Sunday, September 10), the new musical drawing its score and inspiration from the catalog of troubadour Dan Fogelberg, the widely respected singer/songwriter who spent much of his early career in Nashville, attention should be paid to the motivating factors that led the producers to debut their show in Music City - with a look at the show's roots that are firmly planted in Tennessee.
