Dick Boak, director of the museum and archives at C.F. Martin and Company, is about to go out on a high note - with a little help from his friends.

BOAK'S BASH aka The Last Schmaltz will celebrate his retirement with an unprecedented acoustic concert event at the historic State Theatre in Easton on Saturday, January 6th. Musical icons scheduled to appear include: Steve Miller, John Mayer, Marty Stuart & His Fabulous Superlatives, Laurence Juber, Jorma Kaukonen, David Bromberg, Craig Thatcher and Trevor Gordan Hall.

Proceeds from the concert will benefit the non-profit State Theatre Center for the Arts.

"We are honored beyond words that Dick would share his celebration with us," comments Shelley Brown, President & CEO of the State Theatre. "He has been a great friend and supporter for years and we are thrilled to be part for what will be a once-in-a-lifetime event. He is revered by performers and artists with whom he has collaborated , and honoring his amazing career here will be a night to remember. And the fact that the proceeds of the evening benefit this theatre is the icing on the cake. We are so grateful!"

Showtime is 7:30 PM. Limited tickets at $184/$145/$85 have been made available to the State Theatre. Tickets will go on sale to State Theatre Members on Tues, December 5 at 10 am. Public sales will begin Tues, December 12 at 10 am. There is a 4 ticket limit per person. Artists are subject to change.
