London Musical Theatre Orchestra Announces 2018 Season

London Musical Theatre Orchestra is proud to announce its 2018 season which features three spectacular musicals in concert: Tony Award-winning Camelot by Lerner and Loewe at the London Palladium; Girlfriends, composed by Emmy Award-winner Howard Goodall and starring Lucie Jones and Lauren Samuels, at Bishopsgate Institute; and the return of festive favourite A Christmas Carol at the Lyceum Theatre. The concerts follow London Musical Theatre Orchestra and Hackney Empire's presentation of Martin Smith's King at Hackney Empire.

Lyricist and actor Rory Sherman makes his London cabaret debut joined by West End stars including Lauren Samuels, Dev Joshi and accompanied by Ellie Verkerk. After five years offstage Rory Sherman returns in Pink- A Cabaret. Making his London cabaret debut, Rory explores identity, purpose, the contrasts of growing up in The North West and New Zealand and the ups and downs of charity work. Joining Rory from his first album Ms. A Song Cycle is Lauren Samuels (Romantics Anonymous, Bend it like Beckham), Dev Joshi (King Cowboy Rufus Rules The Universe) and accompanied by musical director Ellie Verkerk on piano.

Heretic Productions today announces an extension of the inaugural Heretic Voices - a new competition which aims to find the best new writing in monologue form, at the Arcola Theatre now running from Tuesday 9 January until Saturday 20 January. The recently announced winners, chosen by Michael Billington, Lolita Chakrabarti, Monica Dolan and Mel Kenyon, will have their monologues produced by acclaimed directors and actors at the Arcola Theatre.
