Lindsey Brett Carothers, Josh Walden Headline Next Madame's Soiree

Cabaret patroness Madame Mathieu has selected Lindsey Brett Carothers (Bring it On, Wicked), and Josh Walden (Ragtime, A Chorus Line) as guests of honor at the May 17th edition of Bistro Awards Critics' Pick Madame's Soiree. The Broadway duo will be joined on the program by a distinguished group of emerging artists from a variety of disciplines.

Nine years later, hundreds of students have studied musical theatre at NYFA. The school's mission is to teach techniques being used every night on Broadway… and their faculty is the backbone of the Great White Way!

The Broadway duo will premiere new songs by award winning composer Ryan Scott Oliver (Jasper in Deadland, 35MM) and will be joined on the program by a distinguished group of artists from a variety of disciplines.

The winners of the first ever Denovan Residencies, the most comprehensive development grants in New York cabaret, will be announced at the event.

Alice Ripley, Emily Skinner, The Skivvies, and More Headline ELEGIES FOR ANGELS, PUNKS AND RAGING QUEENS

FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Alice Ripley, Emily Skinner, Josh Young, Emily Padgett, Nick Adams, The Skivvies and many more in a concert of Elegies For Angels, Punks And Raging Queens on Thursday, January 18 at 7:00 and 9:30. With book and lyrics by Bill Russell, who will also host and music by Janet Hood, who will serve as Musical Director, Elegies ... was inspired by personal stories of those affected by HIV/AIDS and has been performed around the world. The score features such songs as My Brother Lived in San Francisco, And the Rain Keeps Falling Down and Learning To Let Go.

The Cutting Ball' VARIETY PACK Opens 2/2

Cutting Ball Theater's 2017-18 Season continues next year with THE CUTTING BALL VARIETY PACK, a two-week festival featuring four short, fully staged experimental works, readings of two brand new plays by New York-based playwrights, and more.
