2nd Annual NYFA Faculty Show WE'LL CALL YOU to Feature KRISTY CATES, & More

The Green Room 42 proudly presents WE'LL CALL YOU: THE NEW YORK FILM ACADEMY'S 2ND ANNUAL FACULTY CABARET, FEATURING Kristy Cates, Todd Buonopane, Bobby Cronin, Lauren Elder, AND MORE on April 15th, 2018 at 7:00 PM.

Tickets are still available!

Seventy-five Broadway Artists. One School.

The musical theatre department at the New York Film Academy (now known as the Professional Conservatory of Musical Theatre) was launched in 2009 with nine students in the first class. Nine years later, hundreds of students have studied musical theatre at NYFA. The school's mission is to teach techniques being used every night on Broadway... and their faculty is the backbone of the Great White Way!

In honor of this, The Green Room 42 will present NYFA's 2nd annual Faculty Show! Join some of NYFA's most beloved faculty members, as they look back on some of their favorite, and least favorite, audition experiences! From 5am EPA calls to booking the job, from forgetting lyrics to remembering why they love this business, no audition story is left untold in our second annual faculty showcase.

Come join us for an evening full of laughter, tears, and questionable headshot choices!

Featuring Todd Buonopane (Cinderella, ...Spelling Bee), LaDonna Burns (RENT nat'l tour), Kristy Cates (Charlie & The Chocolate Factory, Wicked), Bobby Cronin (Mary & Max The Musical), Christine de Frece, William Demaniow, Jordan Neil Dragutsky, Lauren Elder (Side Show, Hair), Rosemary Loar (Once Upon a Mattress, Chess), Stephen Nachamie (Assoc. Dir. She Loves Me), Kevin David Thomas (A Little Night Music, Les Miz), Christine Toy Johnson (TV's The Americans, ...Kimmy Schmidt), and Wysandria Woolsey (Parade, Beauty & The Beast).

The evening will be hosted by NYFA Faculty members Robert W. Schneider and Kevin David Thomas, who co-host the critically acclaimed podcast Behind the Curtain: Broadway's Living Legends.

"We are thrilled to be celebrating the incredible work that NYFA continues to create not only in the world of academia, but in the industry as well. NYFA not only introduced us to one another, it is consistently introducing new talent to the entertainment community," said Schneider and Thomas.

The concert is directed by Mr. Schneider. Daniel Lincoln is the evening's musical director, with Jordan Neil Dragutsky producing.
