Penobscot Theatre Company's Dramatic Academy will stage two 1950s-era shows to round out a season of successful youth programming.  REBEL WITHOUT A CAUSE, made famous by the 1955 film starring legendary Hollywood bad boy James Dean, will play August 15, 16, and 17 at 7pm, and August 18 at 3pm. THE MAN FROM PLANET 52, a campy love letter to B-movies, will be performed on August 15, 16, and 17 at 4pm and on August 18 at 11am.  The performances will be at the historic Bangor Opera House, 131 Main Street, Bangor.

Penobscot Theatre Company's Dramatic Academy will stage the rock and roll classic, BYE BYE BIRDIE, July 18 at 7 pm, July 19 at 7pm, July 20 at 2pm and 7pm, and July 21 at 3pm. All four performances will be at the historic Bangor Opera House, 131 Main Street, Bangor.

Penobscot Theatre Company's Dramatic Academy will stage Robert Louis Stevensons' classic adventure, Treasure Island on May 17th and May 18th at 5PM and May 19th at 11AM. All three performances will be at the Historic Bangor Opera House, 131 Main Street, Bangor.  

The Center for Jewish History has announced its September and October 2016 Programs. Highlights include programs focused on "Blood Libel;"  the 500th anniversary of the Venice ghetto;  a Berlin Films series; and a look at Rembrandt and the Jews.
