CHELSEA TABLE + STAGE – New York’s newest hotspot for intimate dining and extraordinary music –  will present acclaimed cellist Mairi Dorman-Phaneuf in an album release concert for Music of Broadway for Cello and Piano, on Monday, May 2 at 7:00 PM.

The Royal Conservatory of Music will present Music Lights The Way, a grand celebration on April 27, 2022 at 8:30 PM at Koerner Hall featuring acclaimed pianists performing selections from the Celebration Series, Sixth Edition.  

Nathan R. Matthews is producing and performing in a concert for The Riverside Opera Ensemble at Merkin Hall at the Kaufman Music Center on May 16th. Tony nominee Christiane Noll (Ragtime) and Grammy winner Edward Parks (The (R)evolution of Steve Jobs) will headline the concert of new music by Dreamworks composer Drew Fornarola and Matthews himself.

Dr. Patricio Molina has been named a Yamaha Artist. With this distinction he joins the ranks of some of the world's greatest classical, jazz and contemporary pianists including Richard Danielpour, Billy Childs, and Elton John. He is the first ever Chilean-Syrian to become a Yamaha Artist.

BIRDLAND JAZZ CLUB will present Tony Award-winner Debbie Gravitte in a special residency “Debbie Plus One” starting Monday, April 11 at 7:00 PM. Gravitte has been in theater long enough to have made some very special friends, and she welcomes Stephen Schwartz (April 11), Marc Shaiman (May 9), and Harvey Fierstein (September 12).

Shriver Hall Concert Series will present sibling duo Sheku and Isata Kanneh-Mason on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at 5:30pm. Sheku and Isata are featured in a recital of timeless sonatas including Beethoven's Cello Sonata in C Major, Op. 102, No. 1; Shostakovich's Cello Sonata in D minor, Op. 40; Britten's Cello Sonata in C Major, Op. 65; and Frank Bridge's Cello Sonata in D minor.

Superstar Natasha Bedingfield will host and perform during the upcoming 50-city North American tour of this year's highly anticipated live show THE MASKED SINGER National Tour, it was announced today by Right Angle Entertainment and Outback Presents. Peter Cincotti owned the piano in Birdland last night and it wasn’t because his name was temporarily affixed to the legendary 7 foot Yamaha for his engagement.   Imagine Billy Joel, Harry Connick Jr., Lang Lang, Manilow, and Jerry Lee Lewis on the same piano bench and it will give you an idea of the kind of exciting music at a Cincotti performance. 

Opening their 2021/22 season, the Park Avenue Chamber Symphony and Music Director David Bernard celebrate the return of live audiences with 'Venerable Variations', a concert program encompassing Mozart's Concert Rondo in D for Piano and Orchestra, Brahms's Variations on a Theme by Haydn, and Elgar's Enigma Variations. Rising young pianist Maxim Lando, winner of the 2020 Gilmore Young Artist Award and perhaps best-known for partnering Lang Lang while the Chinese pianist was injured (Lando played the parts for Lang Lang's injured left hand).

The Louisville Orchestra Board of Directors has announced the appointment of Graham Parker as Interim Executive Director. Mr. Parker comes to Louisville from his recently concluded tenure as President of Decca Records, US, at Universal Music Group.

The Lang Lang Foundation is accepting applications through October 31st for their Young Scholars Program. Every two years, applications are reviewed by Lang Lang, who personally selects a limited number of exceptionally talented young pianists from around the world, offering them mentorship and unique opportunities for performance.
