The complete cast and creative team have been announced for the first Broadway revival of August Wilson's The Piano Lesson at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre. Joining the cast are Nadia Daniel and Jurnee Elizabeth Swan. Washington Performing Arts announces its 2022/23 Season with the theme of The World in Our City, running from October of 2022 through June of 2023 and featuring artists from 19 nations.

 Shriver Hall Concert Series (SHCS) — Baltimore’s premier presenter of chamber music ensembles and solo recitalists — has rescheduled its concert featuring the two-time Grammy Award-winning Pacifica Quartet and soprano Karen Slack, to Sunday, June 19 at 5:30pm, due to Covid-related challenges (originally scheduled for May 15).

On Sunday, June 12, 2022 at 5:30pm, Shriver Hall Concert Series - Baltimore's premier presenter of chamber music ensembles and solo recitalists - presents Irani-American harpsichordist Mahan Esfahani. Esfahani was the first and only harpsichordist to be a BBC New Generation Artist (2008-2010).

Her special guests for May 9 will include NaTasha Yvette Williams (Waitress), Christian Thompson (Ain’t Too Proud), and Hayley Podschun (Wicked), in addition to students from the Manhattan School of Music. Each show has a $40 music charge. Birdland is located at 315 West 44th Street in New York.
