The only production of LES MISERABLES currently playing anywhere in the world is the one on Hale Centre Theatre’s Centre Stage--an all-out spectacle with burnished visuals and vocals. Scene after scene amazes the audience with its artistry, lush lighting reminiscent of stained glass, and immense scale. This is quite possibly one of the most spectacular productions of LES MISERABLES ever staged.

On Saturday February 6, 2021, the Dance Education Laboratory held its seventh annual Movement Sentence Choir - the first-ever virtual Movement Sentence Choir event over Zoom. This year’s theme was COME TOGETHER AND UNITE and used the action words FLOW, ROOT, CUT, CONNECT, based on Yin Yue’s innovative contemporary dance technique, FoCo Technique ™

It is nearly impossible for Hale Centre Theatre to surpass its 2011 regional premiere of A TALE OF TWO CITIES, which is still a theatre-going highlight for many who were lucky enough to attend. However, its stunning new production of the show has much to recommend it, with bold imagery, meaningful moments, and haunting performances.

The new production of LES MISERABLES at Hale Centre Theatre in West Valley is a feast for the eyes, ears, and soul. It is the most unique (and among the best) of the productions of this show ever in Utah, and it offers enough beauty in every sense of the word for it to be well worth the time and ticket prices. It is implausible that a better LES MISERABLES will be presented here any time soon.

Hale Centre Theatre West Valley's production of RAGTIME is exquisite in every way. It could easily be the best theatrical production in Utah this year.

Tiffany Rea Fisher is the Associate Artistic Director of the Elisa Monte Dance. She received her BFA from the Conservatory of Dance at Purchase College SUNY, where she co-founded ForArts, the school's first interdisciplinary presenting organization, which provided opportunities for students from different conservatories to create collaborative works.
