American Dance Festival Announces Its 2023 Performances

To celebrate the 90th anniversary season, the American Dance Festival (ADF) is presenting 23 choreographers and companies. Among them are audience favorites such as Paul Taylor Dance Company and Pilobolus who will be presenting repertory programs including new work. SW!NG OUT, Kyle Marshall Choreography, and Resident Island Dance Theatre are among the exciting emerging talent that will make their ADF debuts.
DANCE ON THE LAWN Montclair's Dance Festival Returns For 10th And Final Year

Dance on the Lawn, Montclair, NJ's outdoor dance festival, will return for its tenth and final year, Celebrating New Jersey. The Festival returns to its original location, the front lawn of St. Luke's Episcopal Church 73 S Fullerton Ave, Montclair, NJ, on Saturday, September 19 from 3- 5pm. The Dance on the Lawn Festival is free.

Dance/NYC Announces Dance Advancement Fund 2022�"2023 Grantees

The service organization Dance/NYC has announced the 37 recipients and 8 runner ups of the 2022–2023 Dance Advancement Fund, made possible by the generous support of the Howard Gilman Foundation and the Ford Foundation. The purpose of the funding initiative is to address the inequitable distribution of resources in the dance field and advance its resilience and thriving by supporting dance making organizations and groups with budgets between $10,000 and $500,000.
BAM Announces 2022 MLK Celebration In-Person and Virtual Offerings

BAM will host a series of events on Monday, January 17, 2022, in celebration of the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Anchoring the celebration is the 36th annual Brooklyn Tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., which will take place in the Howard Gilman Opera House and also be available via livestream at 10:30am.
