The Civilians, the celebrated Off-Broadway theatre company, will host a benefit concert at Joe's Pub (425 Lafayette St.) on Monday, June 4th, 2018 at 7pm. This one-night-only event will celebrate the life and legacy of founding Associate Artist, the late composer and lyricist Michael Friedman, and will raise funds for the newly created Michael Friedman Legacy Fund.

Last night, sixteen female Broadway stars were featured in Broadway Sings Rihanna, the latest concert in the Broadway Sings concert series. The tribute concerts take the music of well-known music icons and create new, unique arrangements and orchestrations by twisting the style to fit the strength of the performer. Previous fifteen concerts have included Adele, Stevie Wonder, Justin Timberlake, and Sara Bareilles. On June 18, the series will continue with Broadway Sings Kelly Clarkson.

It has just been announced that Phoenix Best will be taking over the role of Alana Beck in Dear Evan Hansen beginning Tuesday, March 13. Best replaces original Broadway cast member Kristolyn Lloyd, who plays her final performance on Sunday, March 11.
Taylor Trensch's first 'official' performance as Evan in Dear Evan Hansen was Tuesday, February 6, after he performed a few early performances on January 31 at 8 PM, February 1 at 7 PM and February 3 at 2 PM. Trensch took over for Noah Galvin, who replaced Ben Platt last year.
