Hereafter Musical, a thought provoking new musical by Vinnie Favale and Frankie Keane about the age old human desire to communicate with our loved ones who have passed, told from the perspectives of both the living and the departed, is slated for an open-ended run, Off-Broadway, at the Snapple Theater Center (1627 Broadway) with previews beginning on Saturday, September 13, 2014. Co-Author's Favale and Keane draw from their own personal losses in the inspiring look at the beyond, which will have its official opening today, October 25, 2014 at 4:45PM.

A staged reading of a new musical 'Petrified,' is scheduled for private performances at Cap21 studios May 19th and 20th. Part comedy, part drama, part satire with a lot of heart, 'Petrified' is the story about a middle-American family trying to keep their lives together during this century's Great Recession.

Disney's Aladdin, a new musical comedy based on the Academy Award®-winning animated film, opened on Broadway last night, March 20th, 2014, at the New Amsterdam Theatre, after beginning performances on February 26th, 2014. Former child star and teenage heartthrob actress/singer Renn Woods, best known for her roles as Fanta in the Emmy Award winning TV mini-series Roots, her unforgettable interpretation of "Aquarius" in Milos Forman's movie musical Hair, and as Dorothy in the first national tour of the Broadway musical hit The Wiz, has written a new stage musical, titled Sold: Renn Woods In Concert (A Play in Rhythm and Blues) adapted from her successful autobiographical one-woman show, A Diva Like Me. Musical selections from the first act of the new show will be presented for an invitation-only audience of theatre industry executives on Saturday, Oct. 20, 7 PM in PH1 Studio at Shetler Studios, 244 West 54th Street, 12th Floor (and short stairway to Penthouse 1).
