Red Bull Theater presents Keith Hamilton Cobb's acclaimed play American Moor, making its Off-Broadway premiere at Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce St), in a production directed by Kim Weild and produced in collaboration with Evangeline Morphos, Frederick M. Zollo, Elizabeth I. McCann and Tom Shea.

Red Bull Theater announced today that Keith Hamilton Cobb's acclaimed play American Moor, will have its Off-Broadway premiere at Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce St), in a production directed by Kim Weild and produced in collaboration with Evangeline Morphos, Frederick M. Zollo, Elizabeth I. McCann and Tom Shea.

A recipient of DCA's inaugural CreateNYC Disability Forward Fund, IRT Theater will present six work in progress presentations of the new musical, Stepchild. This fully accessible piece is a radical retelling of Cinderella, seen through the eyes of a young Deaf woman coming of age in a kingdom violently intolerant of difference. All presentations will take place at IRT's Greenwich Village home from May 29- June 2, 2019.

A Modest Proposal, written by Anna Jastrzembski and directed by Jenna Hoffmann, will be presented at the Cherry Lane Theatre for a limited engagement on January 25th, 26th, 27th, 2019 at 7pm.

American Moor, written and performed by the esteemed Keith Hamilton Cobb and directed by Drama Desk nominee Kim Weild, returns for a four week engagement at Anacostia Playhouse, from January 9- February 3, 2019.

Emmy Award winner Don Scardino (A Few Good Men, 30 Rock) will be directing TONY and Drama Desk Award nominated actress Elizabeth A. Davis' (Once, Allegro) developmental production of MY NAME'S NOT INDIAN JOE. Created and conceived by Ms. Davis, the new musical is based on true events and will run July 11th through July 22nd at the Davenport Theatre, 354 West 45th Street.

Legendary playwright, Charles Mee, is turning 80 years and will be celebrated by Cherry Lane Theatre at a benefit performance of FIRST LOVE followed by a blowout bash at Casa La Femme (140 Charles Street). Additionally New York City Council Speaker Corey Johnson will recognize Charles Mee with an official New York City Proclamation for his extraordinary and enduring contributions to the American theatre, on Monday, June 11, 2018 at The Cherry Lane Theatre beginning at 7pm.
