The Paley Center has announced its upcoming events for March-April 2013, including a Marvin Hamlisch tribute concert, the New York premiere screening of the documentary 'The Stages of Edward Albee' - with Albee and Kathleen Turner in person - the Mad Men cast at Paley After Dark and more. AMC has released a sneak peek at the highly anticipated 6th season of their period drama series MAD MEN. The clip includes the tagline, 'You're Invited to the affair of the year,' and features images of characters from the show, including Jon Hamm's Don Draper.

AMC's critically acclaimed Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning drama, "Mad Men," will return for its sixth season on Sunday, April 7 at 9:00 pm ET/PT with a special two-hour premiere written by creator and executive producer, Matthew Weiner and directed by executive producer, Scott Hornbacher. Following the premiere, on Sunday, April 14, "Mad Men" will return to its regular timeslot at 10pm ET/PT with an episode written by Jonathan Igla and Weiner, and directed by Jon Hamm.

This morning, The Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced the nominees for the 70th Annual Golden Globe(R) Awards. AMC's critically acclaimed, award-winning original dramas 'Breaking Bad,' and 'Mad Men' were honored with 3 nominations, the most in basic cable. Moreover, this marks the first time that 'Breaking Bad' has been recognized by the HFPA in the Drama category.

Center Theatre Group, Disney Theatrical Productions and Cameron Mackintosh present the award-winning musical "Mary Poppins" at the Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles. The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced this morning the 64th Annual Primetime Emmy(R) Award nominations, recognizing AMC with 34 nominations, the most for any basic cable network for the fifth year in a row, breaking the previous 29 nomination record for the network from 2011.

Principal photography has begun on "Very Good Girls," written and directed by Naomi Foner, with Dakota Fanning, Elizabeth Olsen, Boyd Holbrook, Demi Moore, Ellen Barkin, Richard Dreyfuss, Clark Gregg, Kiernan Shipka and Peter Sarsgaard. Norton Herrick's Herrick Entertainment is producing and financing the project with Michael London's Groundswell Productions producing. "Very Good Girls" will shoot on location in New York.
