Making a grand and long-awaited return to the road, three-time GRAMMY® Award-nominated multi-platinum R&B icon KEM will embark on ‘THE FULL CIRCLE TOUR’ this spring with 12-time GRAMMY Award-winning legend Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds. Actress, comedian, author, EMMY® Award-winning host and TV personality Sherri Shepherd joins as the evening’s host.

To better serve creators internationally, the Wing has also forged a partnership with The Latin Recording Academy® and will work with the organization to better serve global creators who identify as songwriters and composers.

Columbia Records and Legacy Recordings, a division of Sony Music Entertainment, will release Release Me 2, a new collection of ten previously unreleased studio performances from the legendary Barbra Streisand, available Friday, August 6, 2021. 

Currently, a third of the Recording Academy's voting membership identify songwriting or composing as part of their craft and these members will be automatically included in the new Wing.

The Lifetime Achievement Award honorees are Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five, Lionel Hampton, Marilyn Horne, Salt-N-Pepa, Selena, and Talking Heads. 

Last night, event chair and host Barbara Davis and co-chair Dana Davis led a star-studded line-up of talent for the 2020 Carousel of Hope Ball, put on by the Childrena's Diabetes Foundation, which raised over $1 Million for clinical care and diabetes research for the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes.

The Los Angeles Philharmonic has announced its 99th summer season at the Hollywood Bowl, showcasing a roster of world-class artists ranging from classical and pops to jazz, rock, and world music. The season features the return of legendary Bowl favorites, celebrated artists and conductors making their Bowl debuts, and the premieres of new LA Phil-commissioned works.

Tickets are still available for R&B and Soul singer Jon B on Saturday, October 5th at 8:00 p.m. Ticket prices range from $46-$58 and can be purchased at SOPACnow.org. Opening for Jon B will be Autumn Jones who hails from Maplewood.

Power music couple, NOMAD & LOLA, make their entrance onto the digital music world with their modern-day spin on the classic 60s song, 'Bang Bang'. The song is their debut single from their new EP, NOIR, a collection of five iconic songs from the 30's through the 70's, all in a dark cinematic pop style inspired by the film noir era. The EP is set to release on October 17, 2019.
