Have you ever wondered how actors are cast in Broadway shows? What may be some of the fixed elements in a process that can be very arbitrary?

Hadestown, the winner of eight 2019 Tony Awards including Best New Musical and the 2020 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album, will come to Dallas in 2022.

Hennepin Theatre Trust announced that Hadestown, the winner of eight 2019 Tony Awards including Best New Musical and the 2020 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album, will make its Minneapolis debut in 2022 as part of the Bank of America Broadway on Hennepin season.

All new clips have been released of the South Korean cast of Hadestown! The cast notably features Xiumin of K-Pop group EXO, alternating in the role of Orpheus. The production opened on September 7.

Tomorrow, original Broadway cast member Patrick Page will return to Hadestown, the 2019 Tony Award-winning Best New Musical. For his performance as Hades, king of the underworld, Page received a Grammy Award and Tony Award nomination.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, Oct. 15 at 10 a.m. Presented by the New Orleans Theatre Association, Hadestown is part of the Hancock Whitney Broadway in New Orleans 2021-2022 season.
