Additionally, Kelley Curran is now starring as Elinor in BEDLAM's critically acclaimed production of SENSE & SENSIBITY which is extended through Sunday, November 20, 2016, at The Gym at Judson (243 Thompson Street).

BEDLAM is pleased to announce the sold-out, award-winning and critically acclaimed production of SENSE & SENSIBILITY has extended for the final time at THE GYM AT JUDSON (243 Thompson Street), playing an additional 7 weeks through Sunday, November 20, 2016.

The Nora Theatre Company is proud to present Bedlam performing their two version of TWELFTH NIGHT: TWELFTH NIGHT (or WHAT YOU WILL) and WHAT YOU WILL (or TWELFTH NIGHT). Both plays are the text of TWELFTH NIGHT written by William Shakespeare.

The 2016 Drama League Award Nominees for Outstanding Play, Outstanding Revival of a Play, Outstanding Musical, Outstanding Revival of a Musical, and the much-coveted Distinguished Performance Award were just announced this morning at Sardi's, by Aladdin stars Adam Jacobs, Courtney Reed and James Monroe Iglehart. The Pearl Theatre Company is pleased to present the world premiere of The Dingdong, Mark Shanahan's adaptation of French farceur Georges Feydeau's Le Dindon. Directed by The Pearl Theatre's Artistic Director Hal Brooks, The Dindong follows the misadventures of one madcap night in a Paris Hotel, dancing us into a world where opening the wrong door in the dark of night leads to mayhem, laughter and, maybe, a few home truths about the secrets to a happy marriage. The production runs April 5-May 15 and features five actors taking on multiple roles in this breezy comedy full of romance, lust and theatricality.

Red Bull Theater today announced that their Twelfth Season will continue with John Marston's THE MALCONTENT, directed by Derek Smith, featuring Geraint Wyn Davies along with the previously announced Matthew Rauch ('Banshee'), four-time Academy Award nominee Marsha Mason, Kelley Curran, Clifton Duncan, Cameron Folmar, Christopher Innvar, Rachel Mewbron, Christina Rouner, Rocco Sisto, Susanna Stahlmann, and Nathan Wilkenstein. 

Red Bull Theater today announced that their Twelfth Season will continue with John Marston's THE MALCONTENT, directed by Derek Smith, featuring Matthew Rauch ('Banshee') four-time Academy Award nominee Marsha Mason, Kelley Curran, Christopher Innvar, Christina Rouner and more. This savage satire follows Malevole, the sarcastic court jester as he lambastes Renaissance Genoa with his caustic wit. But in a tale of false deaths, seductions, and adulteries, is this jester truly what he seems to be?

The Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival (HVSF) has announced the cast for its upcoming production Suspense! Halloween Radio, Lucille Fletcher's spine-tingling radio dramas The Hitchhiker and Sorry, Wrong Number. HVSF veteran Ryan Quinn returns, straight from the critically acclaimed Off-Broadway production of Whorl Inside a Loop.

Theater history buffs have two reasons to seek out a production of RED VELVET, Lolita Chakrabarti's historical drama. First, it sketches in part of the true story of the first great black classical actor, Ira Aldridge. Second, it depicts the beginning of the shift from old-fashioned 19th century declamatory acting style to something closer to the naturalism of the 20th century, a naturalism that still dominates today's stages.

Shakespeare & Company presented the first full American production of Red Velvet, written by Lolita Chakrabarti, directed by Daniela Varon, and starring OBIE Award-winning actor John Douglas Thompson last night and Broadwayworld's Stephen Sorokoff was there. This powerful and emotional drama joins the Tina Packer Playhouse repertory and runs through September 13. Check out photos from the production below!

William Shakespeare's hilarious farce, The Comedy of Errors is playing at the Tina Packer Playhouse at Shakespeare & Company in Lenox, Ma. and Broadwayworld attended a performance. Director Taibi Magar delivers a whirlwind of magic, music and mayhem in the rollicking production of Shakespeare's shortest comedy. Performances run through August 23.

Shakespeare & Company has finalized casting for its 38th performance season, and released a complete schedule of Opening Night dates. The announcement was made this week by Interim Artistic Directors Ariel Bock and Jonathan Croy, along with a positive report from Interim Managing Director Stephen D. Ball on the Company's box office successes to date. Shakespeare & Company's season opens on May 22 with The How and The Why, by Sarah Treem.

This season's mainstage production, John Ford's 'Tis Pity She's A Whore, directed by Red Bull Artistic Director Jesse Berger, will begin a limited Off-Broadway engagement tonight, Tuesday April 14th at The Duke on 42nd Street. Opening Night is set for Sunday April 26th. Performances continue through May 16th.
