Las Vegas Philharmonic Encore Performances to Air on Nevada Public Radio

The Las Vegas Philharmonic has partnered with Nevada Public Radio for the fifth consecutive year to broadcast a collection of memorable performances from the past five seasons plus two special broadcasts of music from the current 2019-20 season on Classical 89.7 FM Saturdays at 2pm, starting May 16.

The 2020 Boston Pops spring season, which was to take place May 16-June 13, has been canceled due to ongoing concerns over the spread of COVID-19. The 2020 Boston Pops season was designed as a celebration of Keith Lockhart's 25th anniversary season.

Brevard Music Center Announces Cancellation Of 2020 Summer Season

After careful analysis of the continued global, regional, and local impact of the Coronavirus, the Trustees of the Brevard Music Center have unanimously voted to cancel its renowned Summer Music Festival, which had been scheduled for May 30 - August 22, 2020. The Brevard Music Center, one of the country's premier training programs for young musicians, is also cancelling all educational programming during the summer of 2020.

Mark Volpe to Retire as Boston Symphony President and CEO

The Boston Symphony Orchestra today announced that its highly respected and long-serving President and CEO, Mark Volpe, will retire at the end of February 2021.
