Following a three-and-a-half week summer concert tour of Austria and Italy, Electric Youth (EY) will perform two free outdoor concerts today, July 21, at 6:30 p.m. at Norfolk Town Hill and on Wednesday, July 27, at 6 p.m. on Franklin Town Common.

Following a three-and-a-half week summer concert tour of Austria and Italy, Electric Youth (EY) will perform two free outdoor concerts on Thursday, July 21, at 6:30 p.m. at Norfolk Town Hill and on Wednesday, July 27, at 6 p.m. on Franklin Town Common.

Electric Youth (EY), the international touring ensemble of singer-dancers trained at the Franklin School for the Performing Arts (FSPA), will perform at THE BLACK BOX in downtown Franklin on Saturday, June 18 at 7:30 p.m. The event is a Bon Voyage Concert for Electric Youth, coming just days before the ensemble departs on June 23rd for a three-week concert tour of Austria and Italy. The group's 13th European tour will include a return Fourth of July show at Aviano Air Force Base to entertain U.S. Troops and families stationed abroad.

Franklin Performing Arts Company (FPAC) presents the sci-fi smash musical Little Shop of Horrors on Friday, June 10 and Saturday, June 11. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. at THE BLACK BOX, FPAC's home and theater located at 15 West Central Street in downtown Franklin.

Twenty-nine local students from the Franklin School for the Performing Arts (FSPA) will travel to Walt Disney World during the April school break to perform for Disney audiences and participate in master classes with Disney performers, choreographers and directors. This is FSPA's 21st year of Disney performances as part of the Disney Performing Arts Program.

The Broadway at Birdland concert series was proud to present NY1 theater journalist Frank DiLella, who returned to the Birdland stage with the fourth episode of his new talk show, 'Show Biz After Hours With Frank DiLella.' Franklin Performing Arts Company's production of the under-the-sea spectacular, DISNEY'S THE LITTLE MERMAID, plays for three more performances this weekend at THE BLACK BOX, 15 West Central Street, in downtown Franklin. Shows are on Saturday, March 19 at 2:00 and 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, March 20 at 2 p.m.

The Broadway at Birdland concert series was proud to present NY1 theater journalist Frank DiLella in the second episode of his new talk show, 'Show Biz After Hours With Frank DiLella.' The event was taped in front of a sold-out audience on Monday, January 11, with Frank's very special guest Jonathan Groff, who is currently starring on Broadway as King George in the smash hit HAMILTON. Frank had several guests on hand to surprise Groff, including friends Tituss Burgess, Alyse Alan Louis, Jenni Barber, and his 'Looking' co-star Russell Tovey. With a twist on a fairy tale classic, the family-friendly musical, Snow White and the Seven Elves, debuts at THE BLACK BOX, 15 West Central Street, in downtown Franklin. Performances are today, December 12 at 2 and 7:30 p.m. and tomorrow, December 13 at 2 p.m.

Franklin Performing Arts Company (FPAC) presents 'Tis the Season!, an upbeat, jazzy extravaganza featuring members of the Kenny Hadley Big Band, with contemporary arrangements of favorite holiday classics in musical styles ranging from R&B, Motown and gospel to pop, jazz and Broadway. Performances are Saturday, December 19 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, December 20 at 2 p.m. at the Franklin High School auditorium, 218 Oak Street. First staged by FPAC in 1995, 'Tis the Season! returns with a large cast of area performers to entertain audiences with great merriment, fanfare and fun. Musical arrangements include Andy Williams' "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" and "Happy Holiday," Quincy Jones' sensational version of the "Hallelujah Chorus," songs from several popular television holiday specials, and many surprises.

The culmination of FSPA's annual two-week musical theater program, the production features students in grades 8-12 and will be staged at THE BLACK BOX, located at 15 West Central Street in downtown Franklin.
