Electric Youth (EY), the international touring ensemble of singer-dancers trained at the Franklin School for the Performing Arts (FSPA), will perform at THE BLACK BOX in downtown Franklin on Saturday, June 18 at 7:30 p.m. The event is a Bon Voyage Concert for Electric Youth, coming just days before the ensemble departs on June 23rd for a three-week concert tour of Austria and Italy. The group's 13th European tour will include a return Fourth of July show at Aviano Air Force Base to entertain U.S. Troops and families stationed abroad.

Twenty-nine local students from the Franklin School for the Performing Arts (FSPA) will travel to Walt Disney World during the April school break to perform for Disney audiences and participate in master classes with Disney performers, choreographers and directors. This is FSPA's 21st year of Disney performances as part of the Disney Performing Arts Program.

The Broadway at Birdland concert series was proud to present NY1 theater journalist Frank DiLella in the second episode of his new talk show, 'Show Biz After Hours With Frank DiLella.' The event was taped in front of a sold-out audience on Monday, January 11, with Frank's very special guest Jonathan Groff, who is currently starring on Broadway as King George in the smash hit HAMILTON. Franklin Performing Arts Company (FPAC) presents 'Tis the Season!, an upbeat, jazzy extravaganza featuring members of the Kenny Hadley Big Band, with contemporary arrangements of favorite holiday classics in musical styles ranging from R&B, Motown and gospel to pop, jazz and Broadway. Performances are Saturday, December 19 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, December 20 at 2 p.m. at the Franklin High School auditorium, 218 Oak Street. First staged by FPAC in 1995, 'Tis the Season! returns with a large cast of area performers to entertain audiences with great merriment, fanfare and fun. Musical arrangements include Andy Williams' "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" and "Happy Holiday," Quincy Jones' sensational version of the "Hallelujah Chorus," songs from several popular television holiday specials, and many surprises.
