Two-time Tony Award® winner Katie Finneran (Promises, Promises, Noises Off) will star as Miss Hannigan in the new production of ANNIE, the Tony Award-winning classic musical. ANNIE opens November 8 at the Palace Theatre (1567 Broadway at 47th Street). Previews begin October 3.

The Second Annual Tony Awards Film Series kicked off this weekend, featuring a collection of Broadway inspired films and exclusive interactive opportunities for audiences, including panel discussions with Tony Award winners, a Carol Channing look-a-like contest and sing-a-long. The Tony Awards Film Series is free to the public, with a suggested donation to The Paley Center for Media.

The Tony Awards Film Series will open on Saturday, May 12th with the world premiere of Stephanie Riggs' 'The Standbys.' The FOX network has tabled its plans to bring back I HATE MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER as part of its June lineup, network sources have confirmed. The series, which was put on hiatus in March, had been set to return on Sunday, June 3 at 7:00/6:00c with back-to-back episodes for three weeks - completing its 13-episode run.

FOX has yanked its struggling comedy I HATE MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER from its Tuesday lineup, network sources have confirmed.

The American Theatre Wing (Theodore S. Chapin, Chairman, Board of Trustees; Heather Hitchens, Executive Director) is now accepting applications for the 2012 SpringboardNYC summer program, being held June 5 - 16 in New York City. Limited to 35 participants, SpringboardNYC provides financial aid and multiple scholarship programs to students who qualify.
