FOX Nixes I HATE MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER Return in June

The FOX network has tabled its plans to bring back I HATE MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER as part of its June lineup, network sources have confirmed. The series, which was put on hiatus in March, had been set to return on Sunday, June 3 at 7:00/6:00c with back-to-back episodes for three weeks - completing its 13-episode run.

FOX's I Hate My Teenage Daughter, starring Katie Finneran, has been canceled, Entertainment Weekly reports. The comedy will play its final episode of the season on Tuesday, April 3. A recent episode of the show only garnered 3.6 million viewers and a 1.4 rating among adults aged 18-49. FOX may air the remaining episodes over the summer.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Fox network has shelved the comedy series I HATE MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER due to weak ratings. The network has announced that it will air an expanded version of 'American Idol' in its place on Wednesdays during the month of April.
