The Dallas Opera will premiere a new production of Wagner's epic tale Das Rheingold, a title returning to the Winspear stage after more than 20 years.

​​​​​​​ The Dallas Opera has announced guest performers and programming for the upcoming Linda and Mitch Hart Institute for Women Conductors Showcase Concert on Saturday, January 28, at 7:30pm at the Margot and Bill Winspear Opera House (2403 Flora St., Dallas, TX).

In 2019, Cornell University started “Freedom on the Move,” a database of “runaway ads” collected from early newspapers in the United States. These ads, placed by enslavers, preserve snapshots of more than 30,000 enslaved people who took their fate into their own hands, liberating themselves from a cruel, ugly cycle whose effects ripple to this day.

Karen Slack: Of Thee I Sing will be performed as part of The Future Is… Festival. The performance is on Thursday, June 16.

In the 22/23 season, Edmonton Opera will present a uniquely staged and choreographed performance of Pergolesi's Stabat Mater, a Home for the Holidays concert in December following the Opera’s first holiday concert last year, and more.

 Shriver Hall Concert Series (SHCS) — Baltimore’s premier presenter of chamber music ensembles and solo recitalists — has rescheduled its concert featuring the two-time Grammy Award-winning Pacifica Quartet and soprano Karen Slack, to Sunday, June 19 at 5:30pm, due to Covid-related challenges (originally scheduled for May 15).

Carnegie Hall today announced that Pacifica Quartet must regretfully postpone their concert scheduled for this Friday, May 6 at 7:30 p.m. in Weill Recital Hall due a positive COVID-19 case among the artists. This performance has been rescheduled for Saturday, June 18 at 8:00 p.m.
