The Pittsburgh CLO has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Gene Kelly Awards, which were previously scheduled for May 23, due to the ongoing crisis with COVID-19. This decision was made out of respect for the health and safety of the many students, families, theater professionals and fans who attend and participate in this program each year.

The Cincinnati Arts Association has announced the winners of its Overture Awards Competition, held on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at the Aronoff Center's Jarson-Kaplan Theater, and the winner of its Arts Educator Award for Excellence in Arts Instruction. The competition awarded $4,000 to six area students for education and training, with 19 runners-up each winning $1,000, while the Arts Educator Award winner received $2,500 and two finalists were awarded $500 each.

'Carolines Comedy Madness' events will take place on March 2, 11, 18, 25 and 30, at 1626 Broadway, between 49th and 50th Streets, in New York City. Tip-off for rounds 1, 2, 4 and 5 is at 7:00 p.m. and tip off for round 3 on March 18 is at 9:30 p.m.
