Vagabond Players to Present THE NORMAL HEART, 2/26-3/20
The Normal Heart by Larry Kramer opens at the Vagabond Theatre February 26th, and runs weekends through March 20.
Filled with power, passion and intelligence, this explosive Tony Award winner about the early years of the AIDS epidemic is an electrifying indictment of the government, the media, and the public for a conspiracy of silence and refusal to deal with a national health crisis.
The Vagabond production is directed by Howard Berkowitz, with a sterling cast of Steven Shriner, Eric C. Stein, Jeff Murray, Laura Malkus,Tom Burns, David Shoemaker, Justin Johnson, Ryan Cole and Tony Viglione.
The Normal Heart was originally produced in 1985 and was acclaimed by Newsweek: "An extraordinary play! Kramer produces a cross fire of life-and-death energies that create a fierce and moving human drama."
