Kim Davies' STET to Open Off-Broadway at Abingdon Theatre Company in June

Abingdon Theatre Company, in association with The Muse Project, will present STET, a new play inspired by true events, written by Kim Davies and developed by Kim Davies, Jocelyn Kuritsky and Artistic Director Tony Speciale. A limited Off-Broadway engagement will begin previews on June 11, as part of Abingdon's 2015-2016 Season, with an official press opening scheduled for June 23. Tickets are now on sale through July 3. Tony Speciale is set to direct the world-premiere production, which marks his inaugural programming as Artistic Director.

Irvington Town Hall Theater to Present Three One-Acts as Part of Stage Door Reading Series

 Irvington Town Hall Theater (ITHT) closes out a second season of their Stage Door Series, ( where new works are presented in a relaxed setting without sets, costumes, or props) with an afternoon of one-act plays. Three different one-acts by two diverse local playwrights will be read on Sunday, April 24 at 3:00pm. Two plays by Evelyn Mertens: Stray Gloves and Sleep Study and one by Stephanie Okun: Fishing. There will be a Q&A with the playwrights following the reading.

Abingdon Theatre Company Associate Artistic Director Steps Down

Abingdon Theatre Company, located in Manhattan's Garment District, announces that Associate Artistic Director Kim T. Sharp is departing after a 16-year association with the company. Sharp will pursue theatre projects he has nurtured and explore further literary and management opportunities.

The Concert is an evening of songs exploring those aspects of life in the city and more, featuring classic and contemporary musical theatre songs from composers such as Sondheim, William Finn, James Taylor, Jeanine Tesori, Jule Styne, Irving Berlin and more.

Al Tulane to Return to Don't Tell Mama with Jay Rogers, 4/1

Favorite Directing credits: The Medium,  Educating Rita, Chapter Two, Dracula,  Triumph of Love, The Sound of Music, Urinetown, Sunday in the Park with George (Ovation Nomination), Into the Woods, Hello, Dolly!, The Last Five Years, Glory Days, F**king Men (American premiere), and Sweeney Todd (Ovation nomination), and ten musicals for The Musical Theatre Guild.
