The great singer songwriter, Johnny Cash, is recreated on stage in the hit musical tribute, The Man In Black, A Tribute to Johnny Cash starring Shawn Barker, at the State Theatre in Easton on Saturday, October 15th, 8 PM.

You don't necessarily have to be a fan of Johnny Cash or his music to enjoy Ring of Fire: The Music of Johnny Cash now onstage at Dickson's Renaissance Center in a professional production from The Gaslight Theatre. But you can be certain that when you leave the theater you will be a Johnny Cash fan of the highest order, humming the songs you've just heard performed by a remarkable group of artists.

A musically gifted cast headed by co-director David M. Lutken playing multiple instruments gives a warm glow to the music of country music legend Johnny Cash, but it isn't enough to spark a real flame in the plotless Ring of Fire: The Music of Johnny Cash playing at Ivoryton Playhouse.

On sale to State Theatre Members Tues, Aug 2 (Box Office window at 453 Northampton Street opens at 6 AM; Online Ticketing and Phone lines open at Noon). Tickets will go on sale to the Public August 16 at 10 AM.

What a glorious evening of song and mirth is to be had in the company of supertalents Wayland Pickard and Deborah Johnson in Legendary Duets! Facing each other at dueling pianos, Pickard and Johnson play, cavort and sing. As one gets up to solo, the other assists with background accompaniment. Pickard is most definitely the comic and Johnson is straight-man. Behind is a screen with projections of the singing artists in question. And there is a variety of music explored: rock from the 50s, 60s and 70s, country, the classics, Hollywood film tunes and Broadway pop.
