Paramount has just released a new promo from the forthcoming series Knuckles, a spin-off of the fan-favorite character from the world of Sonic the Hedgehog. Knuckles is a new live-action event series following Knuckles (Idris Elba) on a hilarious and action-packed journey of self- discovery as he agrees to train Wade Whipple (Adam Pally) as his protégé and teach him the ways of the Echidna warrior. The White Lotus star Will Sharpe is set to take on the role of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in a series adaptation of Amadeus. The series will be a reimagined verison of Peter Shaffer’s award-winning stage play, adapted by Joe Barton and directed by Julian Farino.

In an interview with BBC News, Sean Foley said: “They’ve got to be a great comic actor, of which we have very many. They’ve got to be of that shape-shifting kind of quality.'

Stanley Kubrick's iconic work will be adapted for the first time ever, when a world premiere stage production of his timeless classic Dr. Strangelove opens in the West End in Autumn 2024.

The cast of over 50 UK actors taking part in Unprecedented: Theatre from the State of Isolation has been announced.

Hazel and Robin are retired physicists, living in a small cottage on the English coast, in the aftermath of a recent nuclear disaster. Their daily routine of keeping house, yoga, and tending to the cows is upended by the sudden and unexpected arrival of Rose, a former colleague and friend. As crackers and wine are trotted out, so are old jealousies, and the true reason for this visit, which seems to be an evening of laughter, food, and memories, reveals itself to be something else entirely. Stage West presents Lucy Kirkwood's thrilling and astonishing Tony nominee The Children, which begins a 5-week regional premiere run on Thursday, March 12.

Seattle Rep will welcome back director Tim Bond and a cast of Seattle veteran actors for its production of Lucy Kirkwood's post-apocalyptic drama The Children, beginning February 7 in the Leo K. Steep Theatre begins its 19th season and opens its first production as an Equity theatre in October with the U.S. premiere of Olivier Award-winner Lucy Kirkwood's Mosquitoes, directed by Jaclynn Jutting. Kirkwood won the 2014 Olivier Award for Best New Play for her Chimerica, and her play The Children enjoyed a well-received run at Steppenwolf this past spring. This production will mark Steep's first venture with the playwright, as well as with director Jutting, a long-time friend of the company.

BBC AMERICA's Killing Eve will return for its highly-anticipated second season on Sunday, April 7th at 8pm/7c, the network announced today. Sandra Ohand Jodie Comer reprise their critically-acclaimed performances as Eve (Oh), an MI6 operative, and psychopath assassin Villanelle (Comer) in this story of two women, bound by a mutual obsession and one brutal act. Beginning just after the end of the final episode of season one, Villanelle has disappeared, and Eve is left reeling, having no idea if the woman she stabbed is alive or dead. With both of them in deep trouble, Eve has to find Villanelle before someone else does...but unfortunately, she's not the only person looking for her. 

The 2019 Tribeca Film Festival, presented by AT&T, today unveiled its feature film lineup. Continuing its tradition of elevating exceptional storytelling rooted in today's global film communities, the 18th annual Festival will showcase debut works from emerging talent and new works from notable filmmakers. The program includes discoveries, comedies, music-centered, political and social films. The 2019 Tribeca Film Festival takes place April 24 - May 5.

The comedy series SALLY4EVER will begin its seven-episode season SUNDAY, NOV. 11 (10:30-11:00 p.m. ET/PT), it was announced today by Amy Gravitt, executive vice president, HBO Programming. Produced for HBO and Sky Atlantic by Hush Ho and Various Artists Ltd., the show was created by Julia Davis (creator of the original British series “Camping”), who also executive produces, stars in, and wrote and directed every episode.

BBC AMERICA announced today three new additions to the cast of its buzzy, hit drama Killing Eve which returns for the second season in Spring 2019.  Nina Sosanya (Good Omens) and Edward Bluemel (A Discovery of Witches) join series stars Sandra Oh (Grey's Anatomy), Jodie Comer (The White Princess) and Fiona Shaw (Harry Potter).  Julian Barratt (Mindhorn) will guest star. The series, produced by Sid Gentle Films Ltd and based on the Codename Villanelle novellas by Luke Jennings, is currently shooting in Europe.
