Everything's coming up roses this spring at The Contemporary Theater Company! The company will perform the classic musical Gypsy April 12 - May 11.

A thoroughly entertaining evening for anyone wishing to explore the early years of a master songwriter and an absolute must for fans. The songs are intimate and complex with compelling harmonies and characterisation.

Mark Bramble, the American theatre director, author and producer died yesterday (February 20, 2018) at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore following complications related to cardiovascular hypertension according to the physician on call. He was 68 years old. His passing was reported by his long-time business manager and friend, Richard Koenigsberg.

Ethel Merman was a Broadway institution known as the 'undisputed First Lady of the musical comedy stage.' After being discovered by Vinton Freedley as a singer at Brooklyn's Paramount movie theatre, she was signed to star in the Gershwin's new Broadway hit GIRL CRAZY where she stopped the show nightly with her performance of 'I Got Rhythm'.

According to Deadline, the Emmy Award-winning creator of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and Gilmore Girls, Amy Sherman-Palladino is currently in talks to direct a revived film remake of the musical Gypsy.

CPCC Theatre will perform one of the greatest American musicals of all time, "Gypsy," Feb. 15 - 24, on the college's Halton Theater stage.

As she waits for her husband to return from prison, the star of Ziegfeld Follies reflects on her life and her rise to fame. This hit musical is full of Broadway classics such as "Don't Rain on My Parade," "People," and "Sadie, Sadie, Married Lady," that will be sure to stick in your head. The dazzling orchestra are travelling around the UK with their new At the Movies concert tour, packed full of classic film scores.

Philadelphia Theatre Company welcomes back everyone's favorite princesses for a heart-warming afternoon and evening concert for the entire family. During A Dream Is A Wish: Holiday Princess Concert audiences will sing-along with a gathering of  princes and princesses from popular movie musicals and television shows in a one-day-only event on Sunday, December 16, at 3:00pm and 6:00pm. Children are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite prince or princess. After the show, the cast will host  a meet-and-greet reception with holiday cookies, apple cider and photo opportunities.
